How to eat low carb/ high protein!
My doctor suggested I eat very low carb, a little fat, and mostly protein in order to lose weight. While this seemed easy at first, it is seemingly very hard. I thought, well I won't use bread anymore, I'll eat very little pasta, rice, and potatoes and other carbs and eat them as sides and not the full meal, and eat mostly…

Depression and food addiction
Im wondering if anyone has any experience with this or any insight. So recently I realized I think I have a food addiction. Mostly to sugar and chips and fast food types of foods. Now for the past month I have been working on eating better, and for the past two weeks I have really gotten on the calorie counting path and…

1200 calorie goal + workouts?
They say 1200 calories is the lowest you should go. Is it okay to make this my goal if I workout a lot to get more calories, therefor actually eating closer to 1600 calories a day? I know some people say you shouldn't eat back your burned calories or not all of them at least. Its been awhile since I've been here.

Need help and motivation!
I'm 22 and 270 ibs. This is the heaviest I've ever been. Dieting/healthy eating and exercising has always been hard for me. I never stick to it. I have an all or nothing attitude instead of an 80/20 attitude but I'm trying to change that. Last time around I added like a million friends and it wasnt helpful. I wanna add…

I really want friends who have a lot to lose still or are near where I am. I want friends who are trying to lose a lot of weight. I keep finding myself with friends who are like 140 or 100 trying to get to 98. I don't judge and whatever your journey is is wonderful, but I can't relate to people who are not or haven't been…

My birthday is on Saturday!
My mom said she would cook me anything she wants/ make me any cake or dessert I want. I told her I don't want anything high in calories or fat if it can be avoided because I won't have fun trying to not eat a lot of it on my bday. What are some good low cal/low fat dessert recipes you guys know of?

So sick of all the different information!
I am 5'5, 21 years old, a little less than 250 ibs, and my calories are set to 1570. I picked those calories based on an average of many online calorie calculators. I don't work out much (its a goal), and I don't go to work on a perfectly weekly basis, some weeks I'll work 24 hours while others I'll work 12 while others…

Thanksgiving nerves!
I'm so nervous about thanksgiving. I'm only a week or so into this and I feel like any mistakes could send me flying back into the binging ways of my "past". (a week ago that is). I don't trust myself to be around so much food. I'm so excited for thanksgiving to see my family and to have fun but the food part is stressing…
