Well I just finished my first week. I'm down 6.8 lbs. The last 2 days I actually went up .2 lbs each day. I'm a little surprised, didn't expect it to come off so quickly. Hi, I just started the 21 day fix today. Haven't done the workout yet, I went for a 30 min run this morning. Not sure if I should be running as well as doing the program exercises but I can't give up my running. Have my food planned for the next few days, not very exciting. Clothes to wear for a race
OK, so what do I wear? Weather will be -5ish. 30K run. I was planning on wearing a base layer then shirt and pants with a running jacket that can be later turn into a pouch that I strap around my waist. Is this too much? Oh and also a beanie.

I think I may have pulled my hamstring yesterday. I ran 7 miles and when I came home I forgot to stretch (the kids wanting attention and all). Body fat scale
How accurate would you say a body fat scale is? I know it's not the best but just wanted to know if it's somewhat accurate. Before getting serious with MFP I weighed 155.25 lbs with a body fat of 25.7%, now I weigh 137 with a body fat of 20.6%. Does that sound right?

Suunto HRM - M2
Got a Suunto M2 HRM for Xmas and need some help. When I have been running I was using my Nike Sportsband to calculate my calories burned. Roughly I would burn about 364 calories for a 35 min run at 6mph. Now when I just used my new HRM it shows 129 for 25 min at 6 mph. Just wondering if this sounds accurate. Thanks

Hi all, I'm looking for some good nutrition books. I'm NOT looking for diet books just something to help eat healthier. I find I do stay within my calories just sometimes I don't eat the healthiest meals. I'm sure that's why I still have some fat around the tummy. :tongue:

Weaning away from walk breaks
OK, so now that I have something to work towards, no walk breaks. How do I go about getting there. Like I said in the other post, I can run 20 minutes then walk 1. I haven't pushed myself further, I guess that would be a start. Any advise would be great.

Just curious as to how often everyone takes a walk break. When I started training for my first marathon, last year, I was running 4min and walking 1. My last 1/2 I ran/walked 20:1. Do people actually run nonstop or just a few breaks at the water stations?

Water intake
Curious, are we to track our water intake during exercise? Wouldn't this defeat the purpose since we're losing water during exercise? Am I wrong in this thinking?
