Flax oil/seed?
Does anyone here use flax oil or seed in their diet? I have a friend who has lost a lot of weight (120lbs but that was from gastric bypass) and uses it daily. She recommended I try it. I bought the oil like she uses and it is DISGUSTING. I felt like I was drinking oil from a deep fryer that hasn't been cleaned for 6…

Is it possible to lose 6lbs in a week?
Is it possible to lose 6lbs in a week when you don't even exercise and actually eat? I have a friend who brags about losing weight without trying. She doesn't eat that healthy because I see her posting about eating pies and taking candy into the movie theaters. She knows I am dieting and working out so I think she brags on…

HRM vs pedometer
I had bought a pedometer a few months ago when I first started my weight loss journey. Through time I started learning how inaccurate they really are when calculating calories burned. A person's age and weight are variables when calculating calorie burn. So I bought a HRM last night and it seems to calculate my calorie…

Determining Calories Burned?
Does MFP take in consideration age/sex/heart rate when determining calories burned? No, I do not have a heart rate monitor yet but plan on buying one as soon as I can :) I am sure someone my size (232) would burn more calories for doing the exact same exercise as someone 132. I think lol.
