I love mfp. I've been losing a half a pound consistantly a week, but according to my bmr and what my daily calories require for me to stay the same weight, I should be losing a pound a week staying right at my bmr. Anyone else have this going on?

hypothyroid ... bmr??
So I have hypothyroid. I weigh 139/140. Ive started this program/guidelines (mfp) and it said my bmr is 1385. I'm 5'4" and 21 yrs old. So for me to lose one pound a week. I have to stick to around 1400 net Cal. How many of you with thyroid problems expect to lose less? All my tests r normal. But what is a realistic goal to…

I saw some things online that even a low Cal but high in sugar and Carb diet can make you gain weight rather than lose?? Any insights?

question about calorie goal and fitness goal
Are you suppose to meet both goals to get to the target weight? And if so. My calories are set to 1200 a day. But my fitness goal was set to burning 770/day?? Am I suppose to only eat 1200? Or 2000? Including the exercise..
