Fitbit charge 3
I can't seem to get my charge 3 to sync with mfp. My fitness dashboard shows the nutrition but mfp doesn't show exercise tracked by fitbit. Any suggestions?

Steps from gear
Does anyone know how to get the step configuration to work with Samsung health and under armour? I have under armour to record workouts on my gear 2 but since I've downloaded the step count doesn't work to mfp.

Treadmill calories vs smartwatch
So I did almost 11 mile run today on the treadmill. I started off at 6mph, Did that for .25 miles and then went down to 4.9 for .10 miles then back up to 6.6, back down to 5.2 then back up to 7 then to 7.6 and then to 8mph to finish off. Not the most organized intervals but something. I know that's suppose to burn more…

Cxworx
Has anyone tried cxworx? Thinking about doing the class offered at my gym once a week. If you've tried it is it worth it?

Calories from steps
Do you count calories from steps? I walked a little over 8000 steps today. Google says that's about 300 calories burned. Is that accurate? I wear Samsung watch but my steps don't synch with mfp.

Meal prep
I want to start meal prepping for the week on Sundays. I'll probably buy a bunch of chicken and make different things with it. But what are some things that shouldn't be prepped ahead of time? For example if I'm going to make a pita with chicken lettuce and tomatoes and avocado should I wait till the day of to add the…

Lazy meals
What are some easy (lazy) meals to make that are low calorie? I need to get better at packing my lunch but I want to be able to throw something together the night before or in the morning real quick.

Fat burners
I'm considering buying this bundle from ideal lean. It comes with two containers of protein and bcaas. And for the price for all 3 its not too bad. But it also comes with fat burners. Yes I know there is no magical pill to lose fat. But do they provide any benefit?

Shoe problem
I wear some nikes for training. I really like them because they are the first pair that i can wear for almost anything. Before doing 50 wall balls i would have to take my shoes off because my arch would hurt, same with things like snatches. But these are awesome. But now i have a new problem. During heavy lifts the front…

Arm measurements
I've always felt like if it wasn't for my upper body I wouldn't look so big. Especially my upper arms. So 3 months ago I took measurements and my arms measured 11.5 inches relaxed. I measured them the other day and they are now 9 inches. Which is great but i still want them smaller. Does anyone know what an ideal…

Estimating calories
When going out to eat that doesn't list your calories what do you estimate? I'm going to a Mexican restraunt tomorrow and the calories aren't listed. I was going to give myself 1000 calories. Or should i use a bigger restraunt and use their calorie info for something similar?

Importance of protein
So my goal is fat loss. I'm cutting back on calories and workout 5-6 days a week, twice a day 3 days of the week. I do crossfit in the morning, weightlifting in the afternoon and I try to squeeze in a .50 mile run after the weights. I did really good when i first started 3 months ago and lost 6lbs. Have gained 2lbs back.…

Scale doesn't reflect loss
So I'm sure this has been asked before. I'm working out twice a day. I do crossfit in the morning and a 30-40 min simple weight lifting in the afternoon. Been doing this for about a month. Average about 4 days a week. I have my calorie goal set to maintenance at sedentary and usually don't eat the full 1600. So I've Been…

Frustrated
I've been tracking everything I eat. I have my goal set as maintenance at sedentary. I workout 5 days a week, twice a day and I'm using my exercise as my calorie defict. I know I'm losing fat. My clothes fit better. I'm back into pre pregnancy pants. But the scale hasn't really changed. The past few days I thought I was…

Samsung gear fit 2
I recently got a Samsung gear fit 2 and i love it. I think it's more accurate and better in general than my garmin. However, for calories burned I'm not sure I trust it. I wear it when I do an hour of crossfit. My garmin would report 400+ calories burned. MFP also estimates 400+ calorie burned. My gear fit 2 estimates 261…

Log it?
So just got done at an amusement park. Spent around 4 hours walking or standing with a 17lb baby strapped to my chest. My garmin says I burned around 700 calories. Can i log that or maybe half of that as exercise for the day?

Calories for exercise
How do YOU track your calories burned from exercise? I've really tighten up my logging and have been very consistent with working out. Lost 6 lbs in the first two weeks. I have my calorie goal set to maintenance and using my exercise for the defict. I use my garmin hr to track calories burned, but the first two weeks I…

Steps and calorie adjustments
Do you include steps into your calorie adjustments? Mfp is connected to my garmin and it gives me calorie adjustments for steps taken plus my exercise calories. But I really don't think steps throughout the day should count. Like yesterday I had a little under 3000 steps(don't walk much at work and didn't workout…

Calories
So here I am again. I'm 4'11 and 153lbs. Trying to get to 130-135. I tried 1200 calories a day. Failed miserably. Tried 1400 a day, did a bit better. Thought about fasting, the 5:2 way but I wouldn't really be able to workout those days. I'm usually starving after I workout. (5am class, don't eat before or just an apple).…

Fasting
Safe or not to fast for a day or two. Or a very low calorie for a 1-3 days. I've noticed that when I get stuck at a certain weight range the only way to get under is when I get sick. I get sick and eat very little for a few days and then when I'm over it I'm down so many lbs. And I don't gain it back either. It just stays…

PCOS and weight loss
So yesterday I found out I have PCOS, a complete shock. But now so many things make sense. But one of the things I was reading is that is causes difficulty with weight loss. I've been struggling with my weight since I was 11. And wasnt until 3 years ago that I was actually able to lose a really good amount. But I'm still…

Staying in your goal
What works best for you to stay within your goal? Last week I had set my goals to 1lb a week at sedentary. It gave me 1200 to work with. I ask worked out every day last week and burned between 300-450 calories. I weighed everything I ate. I didn't during the weekend because I went camping at the beach. And then didn't eat…
-
TDEE or fitness pal
Which one do you go off? When I enter my goals into mfp- current 153lbs, goal 135lbs, lose 1lb a week, and not active. I do crossfit and run 3-5 days a week but work a very sedentary job. It gives me 1200 calories a day. When I use an online TDEE calculator and enter the same info and want to lose 1lb a week I get 1460…

Crossfit and calories
If you do crossfit how many calories do you estimate you burn? I have a vivosmart hr Garmin that I wear and sometimes it's great. On a good day it'll say I've burned 450-500 calories. Of course it varies depending what we're doing. And then other days I'm huffing and puffing and I'll look down and it's reading my heart…

The good and bad
I've been loving weighing everything. I feel so in control and sometimes i get to eat more than I thought. But other times I hate it. I made spaghetti carbonora and it was so good. But one small bowl was about 370 calories. And I really want double what I just ate lol

Brownies
I'm making brownies and on the mix it says 26g of mix equals 100 calories. And then in the next row it says prepared equals 160 calories. Does that mean 26g of finished brownie equals 160 calories?

Some weighing questions
I know meat is suppose to be weighed raw, but what if you're not eating all of that? Ex. I'm making dinner for my family tonight using 1lb of ground beef. But I'm obviously not eating all that so if I weigh it again after that do I do a fraction of that over the raw meat? Or do I just weigh it when I'm done and with what…

Hunger- suck it up or no?
When cutting calories is it expected to feel some hunger until you get use to the lower calorie intake? I know eating more protein and filling foods will help but completely? I'm just a bit worried that feeling hungry means I'm doing more harm than good.
