How do you get your calcium-
Without going over your protein? I used to use mypyramid.gov and it calculated milk products separately from meat/protein products. I cant seem to get enough calcium in w/o going over my protein. I may just bump my protein section for sodium anyhow since we can only have 5 selections.

What items do you track?
I have mine set on fiber, calcium, protein, carbs and fat. I just found out you can track sodium but I am out of space. I also realized that I can add 2 more sections to meals so I aded "recipe builder" and "vitamins" to remind me to take them as well as keep track of the calories in them.

The food list says 1 large, 3-4 1/2 inches. Is that legnth or width? We get those massive costco potatoes from costco and I cut them in half. A 4 inch long potato isnt exactly what I would call "large".

A pound a week is not very much.
This week I had buttered egg noodles, salmon patties, pork chops, spaghetti and meatballs (all home made), wine, vodka, a gin martini, oreo ice cream and I lost a pound. But 12.5 pounds is 50 sticks of butter and that is what I have lost YTD at a pound of week. For me, slow and steady wins tthe race and I'm eatin' like a…

Chicken leg and thigh, roasted. Bone in, no skin.
Man the calorie count for this is all over the place. I get anywhere from 33 per ounce w/o the bone to 400 with the bone in. I cook this alot, it's great to take to lunch and easy for the hubby to grab a snack. Does anyone know the closest calorie count for lean skinless dark meat?

Holiday weight stories?
I am having mixed feelings today because on one hand I just hit the 10 pound loss mark (40 sticks of butter) yet on the other hand I am half a pound heavier than my last weigh in of 2009, 1 week before thanksgiving. I am noting this so I can go back and read it and remind myself how hard it is to take those holiday pounds…

I made this up and it comes out beautfully, like something on the cooking channel. I eat it for dinner when I am short on calories for dinner and if I over carbed it during the day. I usually weight in low the next day when I have this for dinner. Ingredients: 1 cup frozen spinach (thawed and dried well) Half an onion…

Bizarre gaining experience
I was doing really well, logging all my meals and losing approx 1 lb a week. Then last week I had a 3 lb gain overnight, after a day of perfectly on program. I figured I had too much salt and weighed in 2 days later and was another 3 lbs up, again, on program. Then monday, after admittedly snacking and drinking through the…
