Ideas for egg noodle side dish?

TFN and recipezaar seem to think parsley butter noodles are all the rage but I'm looking for something incorporating a veggie or 2 and not so much butter to have tonight with pork chops.

    sautee it with some extra virgin olive oil, garlic slices and sliced zucchini... YUM! lil salt and pepper and your good. I grew up on egg noodles *drools*

    Any steamed veg...sweet potato in the skin...regular potato in the skin...brown rice...

    I recently added broccoli slaw and FF italian dressing to egg noodles for a quick pasta salad. Even my toddler ate it and he's pretty picky about veggies.

    apple or raisin kugel! its an amazing casserole- you can find recipes online. or you can make it savory too
