Holiday weight stories?

I am having mixed feelings today because on one hand I just hit the 10 pound loss mark (40 sticks of butter) yet on the other hand I am half a pound heavier than my last weigh in of 2009, 1 week before thanksgiving.
I am noting this so I can go back and read it and remind myself how hard it is to take those holiday pounds off and to use my head!
This ten lbs was alot of work, I felt like I chiseled it off ounce by ounce.
Watch yourself at the holidays, girlfriend!
How many years do you have to gain ten pounds in a month and a half before you learn some control!!!!!

oh i can relate! I gained 8 pounds in 5 days after new years (away with family, not cooking). It took the almost all of January to lose it. All that progress, and time stalled! I soo get it!0
