Not a very successful week for me. Weight is up 1 kilo from last week and what was much worse was the uncontrolled eating. However I did enjoy the beautiful spring weather today and was out running, biking, walking and cleaning my balcony for the good part of the day. I'm noticing alot of emotional stuff coming back up.…

I had a good week weight / fast and exercise wise. Hoping I can keep this up in March too. I'm enjoying being back up to speed with my strength/cardio circuits. They are so good for me! Please remind me of this, when I get lazy :p Spring isn't quite here yet, but the longer days are already having a positve effect on my…

Wow, already the last week of February! Weightloss wise, I'm still in maintainance mode instead of in losing mode... The Christmas weight is gone, but I'm still 1kg away from my lowest low from last fall and 3-4kg from my goal. Exercise wise I had a very good week. Two good runs, a long brisk walk, an easy swim, four ab…

Fast wise not a perfect week and on my non fast days I also had a bit more than my share. Up a pound...what a surprise :p Goodies are gone. Lentil panang curry and beef veggie Chilli are cooked and portioned for the next few fast days. I also did 35 min on my rebounder and 35 min with Jillian Michaels today. So that is all…

It's Saturday evening...time to post the new weekly thread :p My past week didn't go well as far as weightloss and fasting go. Was over quite a bit on both fasts, ate more than enough on the other five days too, thus not surprised, that my weight is up a bit to last Saturday. My exercise last week was limited too. I've…

I'm enjoying my weekend in the mountains. When we arrived on Friday. ..no snow. ..but it snowed Friday night and all of Saturday, so 30-50 cm of powder! I have enjoyed too much wine and food as well as two nice snowshoe hikes. One more tomorrow and then off to home base and a fast on Tuesday. Have an awesome week!

Seems I'm back in the saddle after a week of no exercise, having the flu and not getting a fast in until Friday. My fast on Friday felt good. I went for a run today and will go riding on Sunday. So my world is back intact :p Hoping the weather will be dry for my morning ride, as there is another windy rain front coming in…

Welcome to 2015! I'm spending today in bed with a very sore throat and many mugs of thyme and ginger tea.... Need to be back on my feet tomorrow as it is the first day back at work and a new course is starting. So I even put some onion, ginger and honey in a jam glass. The syrup is supposed to be the best thing for sore…

Oh my, 2015 is closing in on us quickly B) My first whole day at home since the 23rd. Was actually planning to visit friends in Germany, but kind of got snowed in this morning. Thus I did some stuff in my apartment and went nordic walking in the snow. Very enjoyable! There are no more sweets or other high cal temptations…

Sharing, just because I enjoyed it....
I live at the foot of a small forested hill, where I usually go running, biking, walking, horseback riding. In the last few days we've received 30-40cm of snow.... That's rare.... Today I strapped on my snow shoes and went for a hike in my 'backyard'. 7k, 110 min, 180m altitude upwards - a great workout in Fairyland.…

Sunday Eve - Time for a new weekly thread :p My week was a bit of a up and down with lots going on. On the down side - a bit of a hectic week at work, a fall from a horse, too many sweets / too many simple carbs / too many cals and a fast gone wrong On the upside - one good fast, up and running again - so no serious injury…

Well it's Sunday....time for a new thread :) A week and a half until Christmas... Most have lots of things going on and lots of parties to go to. Don't be to hard on yourself! If you can get in two fasts and maintain your weight during the next few weeks, that's a win. Most people gain during the holiday season. The fasts…

Decided to start a new thread :) Cookie baking weekend has come to an end. Will pass most of them on as presents soon and keep the rest in the basement. It's safer that way ;-) After jknights post on mice and fasting, I have decided to incorporate 16:8 on my non fast days. I will stick to my maintenance cals on non fast…

First week of Advent is here - tis the season of lots of socializing and that almost always includes food. - Save some spare cals here and there, if you can and then enjoy your time with friends and family. My best NSV yet!!
Gotta share! Gotta share! I just got a huge incentive to lose those last 3kg!! A bit over a month ago I applied for a styling / make over in a local paper of the neighboring city. I just got the call!! I'm in!! This is a monthly thing and normally has nothing to do with weightloss. The stylist congratulated me on my…

Interesting article on diet myths
