Long Bar 20KG , What muscles does it work apart from biceps?

Now i have your attention , is it ok during weight training to stop lifting and go back 40 seconds later? Or does that screw up the exercise? I mix in a bit of boxing then go back into my weights purely just get pumped for more lifts.

Veins
Never noticed this before now , but since i started back up on my fitness program 15 days ago. I've noticed a increase in veins on my arms , forearm , wrist and just in-between my bicep. Anyone know why this happens? My hands also have visible veins on them now and they never used to. Weight lifting is part of my program.

How do you know if your lifting to much?
Always wondered that , my weights aren't that heavy , i think i was lifting 20kg for 9 days , it gave me a good work out but i didnt really feel the burn as it where , so ive bumped the weight up to by 5kgs.
