Always wondered that , my weights aren't that heavy , i think i was lifting 20kg for 9 days , it gave me a good work out but i didnt really feel the burn as it where , so ive bumped the weight up to by 5kgs.

I can do about 5 reps with them now , with the 20kg i could do around 20 to 25 , after a good warm up.

Shall i go back or keep it the same?

Thanks

Your program defines when you increase the weights.

I increase my weights each workout as long as I didn't fail on my lift...I do 5 sets of 5 reps...

So Wednesday night I squatted 175lbs 5x5...so I moved to 180 last night...I failed on a few sets so I will do 180lbs on monday...

So should you go back ???? what are you goals? what is your program?

You are lifting too much if you cannot maintain your form / position . Amount of sets / reps depends on your plan.

^ This. You don't want to lift to failure but you do want to push yourself.

Depending what your trying to do?

    Don't scarfice form

    Challenge yourself

If you aren't breaking a sweat then it's a warm up if you ask me.
