So ive made up a logical plan , not 100% if this will work. But need some advice from who has experience on this area.

Current weight - 13 stone 12.5 pounds , keep note of the point .5 the .5 is basically half a pound

I have lost a total of 2 LBS and on my last weight in 6 to 7 days ago , i had lost another 2 pounds and was bang on 13 stone 12.

I have gained a total of 0.5LBS in weight lifting with 6 days a week every week lifting my weights and rowing.

My diet has not changed , my fitness has not changed , i burn off my kals than i take in , im not after someone to back up my theory because i know its not bad weight ive gained , merely wondered if it could be muscle.

My rowing has actually increased to 2 10 minute sessions a day , which burns anything from 100 to 150 kals a session.

Sure it could be muscle or it could be water, who knows. It doesn't matter as long as you are sticking to your diet/goals.

Could be muscle, could be water.
1lb of muscle = 1lb of fat, EXCEPT 1lb of muscle is more lean/dense... so if you notice the muscle coming in on your arms it's probably that. you may have actually gained more muscle than that but the fat loss off-set the gain.

    Its not muscle.

You haven't gained 0.5lb of muscle in a week. Its not possible. And if you are trying to lose weight and eating at a deficit, then it definitely isn't possible.

Its water weight. I gain about 1 - 2lb the day after I lift heavy. Its your muscles repairing themselves.

And muscle weighs the same as fat, its just more dense so takes up less room (1lb of muscle looks smaller than 1lb of fat)

It's not muscle...if you are in a deficet you can't gain unless you are obese or a total noob to it.

It is probably water weight from the increased rowing...
