Back with a vengence. Need friends.
So, I slacked off for a little bit. Now I am back, on a mission, and I need good people that log everyday and will help hold me accountable and be supportive. I in turn will do the same. I totally can't blame my MFP pals for kinda giving up on me, cuz I gae up on myself a bit. But now I am back. So, who is with me?! :-)

Seeking help from girls who lift
I am starting a weight training thing tomorrow. Went over it with a trainer and I would love new ideas and support from other lifters. Let me pick your brain about nutrition and other topics. Thank you!!

Not new, but new to lifting and need friends to help!!
So, I have been on here for a while. In nursing school, so I can't get to the gym a whole lot. I have 12 weeks of summer and it also happens to be 12 weeks from my THIRTIETH birthday!! I wanna start lifting 4 days a week. I have a program I have found and went through with a trainer that said it is pretty legit. So, I…

Opinion about relationships
OPINION: I know both options are not ideal but: Which is worse: a) Someone who is "passive aggressive" and will go into ignore mode and cut off ALL communication until they feel like resuming the argument OR b) someone that yells and is loud during an argument, but will always respond, even if it is brutally honest and…

Finding time?
I am a single working mom in Nursing school. How do any of you find time to work, go to school, do the HOURS of studying needed, see your kids, not let your house get out of hand AND go to the gym? The gym seems to have fallen off my priority list lately and I do not feel good about it. I am not terrible at time…

Do you workout sick?
I feel crummy. Throat hurts, swollen glands, stuffy nose, and sluggish. Does anyone out there just workout anyway and just barrel through it? I feel like such a sissy lala, but I am in Nursing school and I can not afford to be more sick and miss any days. Taking it easy makes me feel like a big loser girl.

Sugars and salts
Okay, so I manage to stay in my calorie zone, but I am way over on my sugars. Most of it is from fruit in my smoothies or fruit during the day. I mean, yeah I do sneak a handful of caramel corn or half a scoop of ice cream, but the majority comes from fruit. There is a difference between "fruit sugar" and "crap sugar"…

My mom and me. :)
My mom and I are doing this together. We could both use some friends. I have a few more than her. She is still kinda learning to maneuver her way around the site. If you guys wouldn't mind shooting her (and me) a friend request I would GREATLY appreciate it! The more support the better! She is : Cubsgirl10. Thank you!!

This may be a stupid question.......
I have my activity level set at sedentary. I figured that way I can log all my activities. My job is mostly a sit on my butt job. However, on Saturdays I have my clinical training as a CNA from 6am-1pm and then I bartend and am running my butt off from 4pm-11pm. Its not busy regularly enough to set my activity level higher…

Newbie to the program
Hi everybody! My name is Jamie. I am 27 years old. I am a mother to an 8 year old. Over the past couple years my metabolism and energy has slowed greatly. I am not the best person when it comes to sticking to diet and exercise routines. I always try to find friends to motivate me and I still end up falling off the wagon. I…
