Sugars and salts

Okay, so I manage to stay in my calorie zone, but I am way over on my sugars. Most of it is from fruit in my smoothies or fruit during the day. I mean, yeah I do sneak a handful of caramel corn or half a scoop of ice cream, but the majority comes from fruit. There is a difference between "fruit sugar" and "crap sugar" right? I remember my science teacher saying one is fructose that the body breaks down slower that comes from fruit and the other is surcose? or some crap that gives you the pooch belly.

Also, I am supposed to have lots and lots of salt. I have extremely low blood pressure. Like I faint and its bad etc. So how do I prevent the sodium bloat? Will drinking loads and loads of water help? Should I just drink the 8 glasses ir more? I dont want to retain water and have water weight. Cuz that is no fun.
