Anyone else work from home?
I work remote for a company, so aside from occassional travel, I'm in my home office. This presents a lot of challenges with having the kitchen so close by. Does anyone else deal with this, and what tips do you have?

Suggestion for dining out
When I know I'm going to a restuarant, like tonight, I go to their website and look at the menu. I plan in advance what I'm going to order and stick to it. I don't let anyone talk me into sharing calamari appetizers, either!

Fit spouse doesn't understand

Attitude adjustment!!!!
I realized that in the past when I'm trying to lose weight I think of myself as "on a diet". And when I lose the weight, I'm "off the diet". Wine- my love/hate relationship!
I love wine, but damn the calories!! I've cut down to 1 glass, ok sometimes 2 per night. Any other tips on how I can keep it to a minimum? I know they are empty calories, but I enjoy them so much.

Totally DISGUSTED with myself!!!
I was doing great all day on my food intake and exercise. Then, like an idiot I drank three huge glasses of wine. Not only did I exceed my calories but I have a hangover. Why do I sabotoge myself this way?

What's the hardest time of day for you?
I work from home, and the hardest part of the day for me- foodwise- is late afternoon. I don't eat a lot at breakfast, and I rarely eat after dinner, but right about 3:00 all I want to do is munch! Ugh

VP of my company asked me if I was pregnant!
Um, no I'm not. I'm just a little fat. Can you believe how stupid people can be?? I wanted to crawl in a hole and die! He only sees me once or twice a year, and I must have put on a few. But really! Has anyone had long time success with these? I tried Nutrisystem for a month and found most of the food completely inedible! My dog wouldn't even touch it and she eats duck poop!
