Son’s birthday tomorrow
I’ve been doing okay so far but tomorrow will be a test. We are having birthday cake and he has requested sloppy joes. I better tank up on water!! I also have a work trip Monday-Wednesday. The supervisor where I’m going is a foodie friend so I’ll have to be on my guard.

Saturday Habits Die Hard!
My hubby and I go to waffle house every saturday. It's our "date" "couple" "quiet" time. Rather than cancel this thing we look forward to - I am learning to eat within my boundaries. I don't include my vitamins and supplements in my calorie count. I take quite a few different ones for different reasons. Does anyone else take vitamins and supplements and do you count them?

I'm Karen - I live in Florida and I've been back on MFP for 30 days now. My metabolism is slower now that I am over 50 - so I hope we can all do this together. I'm not sure I can manage 10 pounds per month - but I will sure try and work hard! It would be awesome actually!
