Accuracy of Heart Rate Monitor: Inflated Calories Burned?
Question: My husband bought me a Timex heart rate monitor today. I tested it out and it says I burned 420 calories during my 30 minute circuit training. I don't think this can be accurate but I'm not sure. My heart rate never went below 150 and maxed out at 190. Any takers on this?

*Being brave* Pics of 30 pounds lost in 4 months
The before picture is from February 2012 and the second one is from last night. I was about 155 pounds and had never worked out before (it was my pre 30 Day Shred picture which is why I look so unhappy, haha!) I am now 126 pounds! I still have some toning to do but I am happy to see a difference!

Mother's Day 2011 vs Mother's Day 2012 *pics*
Going through pictures from last year, I was surprised to see what I looked like this time last year! Losing almost 60 pounds has made a huge difference! I just wish I had a full body picture to compare it to! But here it is! What's awesome is that my mom has lost weight too! So double yay! :happy:

Which weight do you count? I know you are supposed to use the weight from first thing in the morning, but do you count the one in your birthday suit or with clothes on? It's only a 1.5 pound difference for me but I'm just curious what everyone else thinks... So with that said, naked or with clothes? :blushing:

Continuing to lose after taking a break...
I decided to look back at my 30 Day Shred results and discovered that when I took a 3 day break, I continued to lose inches despite the fact that I wasn't exercising! 15 pounds can make a huge difference! (pics)
In the past five weeks, I have lost 15 pounds. I really couldn't tell that much of a difference until I found a picture of me at my starting weight! I am so excited to finally be losing weight again and I can't wait until I finish the 30 Day Shred and see the results then!

I'm so proud of myself!!!
I tried on some of my old jeans just for kicks only to realize that they finally fit again! I am able to fit into the jeans that I wore for my high school senior pictures!!! I am so excited! I have a ways to go but that is the motivation I needed to keep going! If I can do it, so can all of you! :)
