From flabby to fabulous please?
Would anyone be willing to post pictures of legs that weren't too great and then got toned? My legs are full of cellulite and I would love some motivation that weight training can change that. I am 61 years old so I'm not sure if that will happen but I am doing intense weight training 3 times a week with 6 days of cardio…

Enabling negative adjustments
I enabled negative adjustments several weeks ago. I am using Fitbit. Anyway, today by accident I hit where it says Fitbit adjustments and it said "you have not enabled negative adjustments". So I checked on the regular website and I see that I indeed did enable negative adjustments. My allotted calories are going down late…

Negative calorie adjustments.
What is the consensus ..for or against enabling this feature? I'm using a Fitbit.

Jawbone vs Fitbit
So my son has a Jawbone which he said I can have or I can go buy a Fitbit. Seems like a no brainer but is Fitbit better than Jawbone? If it is I don't mind investing in it. Thanks.

New to Fitbit.
Everything on this new Fitbit makes sense except that it's telling me I burned 1.135 calories yet I haven't taken more than 1,200 steps today plus I just bought it and put it on. Going to the gym at 5 pm. Also when I look up the info in the app it's giving me calories burned all the way back to months ago. I don't…

Friends
if anyone is looking for friends here I am. I've been pretty active on the feed. I will encourage you and hope you will do the same.

Cardio and strength training
i just read in an old post that too much cardio can eat away muscle even if one is strength training. So if I am lifting heavy, strength training for 3 hours per week how much cardio would be detrimental? Or how much is too much? Side note: also needing to lose 70 lbs and succeeding by eating at a deficit.

Weighing and measuring.
I am female 61 years old, 5'10". I have an electronic food scale which I weigh my food in grams or ounces. I've been reading a lot of threads that say to weigh everything. Is it safe to trust, say, a can or package that gives the nutritional values? I am fluctuating between a pound down then 2 or 3 pounds up. Most of the…

Possibly a silly question
I have my diary set to sedentary. Other than my daily exercise I would say I am fairly sedentary. I'm wondering if I should not have it set like that because I do exercise 6 days a week; 1hr and 45 min on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 1 hour on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a rest day on Sunday.

Should I also be
eating approximately 50% of the calories that the step app gives me?

Step app
i know I've read here that the calories calculated on the exercises can be off but wondering if the same goes for the step app?

Mangos
so I just love mangos but I see they are very high in carbs and also in sugar (highest of any fruit that I've noticed). Do you think it's best to avoid them while trying to lose weight?

Eating back exercise calories.
For 2 straight weeks I was eating back my exercise calories and unfortunately didn't lose any weight; not an ounce. It was very frustrating. I decided 2 days ago not to even track my cardio or strength training and today I am down almost 2 lbs. Has this happened to anyone else? But yay

I will eventually like to lift heavy weights but...
Right now I have a lot of weight to lose. I'm 5'10" and have 103 lbs to lose (female). So in your experience, would it be good to lose a substantial amount of weight before lifting weights. I was reading about heavy lifting on this site and it sounds like its well over my head right now. I am 60 years old but not a…

In my humble opinion
I think this is good: I like to incorporate a snack or two into my daily calories. When I say a snack I mean even häagen daz. The rest of my calories are typically "healthy" ones. Wondering how others feel about this? Do you incorporate snacks into your daily?

I messed up :(
So I was on day 20 yesterday and going strong. Last night I ate a lot of stuff that I shouldn't have. I got very discouraged because I've been doing so well. At first, I was thinking of eating at a larger deficit for the next 3 or 4 days to make up for the extra 1600 calories I ate last night. Yes you heard that right,…

It was worth it. Totally
The Little Ceasar Pizza I had for lunch was well worth the calories etc. Not something I want to do daily but I do have 1 slice left after this I really love this MFP . I just started week 3 on Saturday and it is so different and freeing from what I'm used to.. I'm in myfitnesspal heaven. Have a great week everyone!!…

1 week on
Hi My name is Alfie. I am 60 years old. I just make one week and I lost 6 lbs. I know that will slow down now and thats fine. MFP figured out my daily calories to be 1400. I'm doing well on this and can usually stay right at the 1400; I'm looking to add some friends for support so please don't hesitate to add me. Thanks.
