Cant get it up...
I've been using the treadmill for about 4 weeks now, walking at 3.0 mph pace. I cant seem to get my heart rate up past 110 - 115. Is it time to increase intensity or should i incorporate more of a cross-training routine?

Just came back from the rest room and by golly.... I could see my belt buckle in the mirror!! Not seeing much movement on the scale but i seem to be losing inches. Not sure how thats possible but I'll take it.

treadmil vs. stationary bike calories
Why is it I can do an hour on a treadmill with moderate incline for 60 minutes, maintain a heart rate of about 103 and hardly break a sweat and burn 477 calories. But i do 45 minutes on the stationary bike, sweat like a dog, maintain a hr of 125 or better and only burn 400 cal. Sure feels like I'm getting a harder workout…

1-2 lbs/week not enough
So since I've started MFP, im eating back my calories but still coming in with a little deficit every day. if I have pulled a pound or maybe 2 a week I'm lucky. I walk on treadmill and ride stationary bike 4 times a week for an hour averaging 450 or more calories/workout. I'd sure like to push 3-5 lbs per week. I want to…

Ate at Mcdonalds

Bonked after workout
Just got done doing an hour on the treadmill at 3.0/455 calories. Got back to my desk and totally bonked. weak, shaky, depleted. Had an omlette for breakfast and a couple of oreos for a snack. what do you eat prior to a workout so you dont bonk?

Breakfast/Snack Bars
I've been using the Fiber One 90 cal snack bars and they are really good, but only 1 gram of protien. My doc says the special K protien bars are the bomb! 10 or more grams of protien per bar but the calorie content is like 170 per bar. But the protien is supposed to make you feel less hungry. Any thoughts here?

Calorie Deficit question
So being new to this, usually everyday I break even with my calories/excercise or a little under/deficit so that should put me on the 1-2 lbs lost/week correct?
