this looks kind of neat. I'm in the marked for an HMR and this might be right up my alley.,

  • That would have been great, but I already purchased a Polar HRM!

Save yourself $ and buy a polar on amazon.

Hey, thanks for that! I love my iphone, but I also need a HRM. Don't have the money for one yet, but I'm putting this in my amazon wish list so I can review it later.

It looks neat because it doesnt require a chest strap, it uses and arm strap instead. I have a polar but at 300+ lbs.. the strap is REALLY tight and uncomfortable to wear when doing p90x.
  • thanks for the info. seems really neat but i already have a hrm.

I looked at a couple of HRM's that work with the iPhone and chose a Polar because it has been doing this a very long time and is more accurate. Not that the iPhone HRM isn't accurate, I just don't know the brand, don't know what their science is behind their calculations, and all of that. :)

If you get it, let me know what you think though. You might want to run both the iPhone app and the Polar side-by-side for a few workouts to see how they measure up to one another.

Is great for android and Sportstracker live or Endomondo. I just bought mine last week and I love it!
