Friends for motivation...
Hey all, I've been on the site for almost 4 years. I've lost a lot of muscle in the last year and my goal is to gain it all back. Who wants to join me on this adventure? In need of some fresh faces in my news feed. Wanna be friends? :)

What's your goal?
Now is the time to get started if you haven't already. Don't wait til the start of a New Year to work on your health! My immediate goal is to lose 5 pounds by Christmas. What's your goal? What do you hope to accomplish for your body in the near future?

Egg Protein shakes
I can't stomach the Whey in most protein powders (dairy allergy). The Brown Rice and the Soy powders also taste quite nasty, so I'm not very likely to take them regularly. I've been toying with the idea of Egg Protein. Has anyone used it? If you have, what are your favorite brands and flavors? I saw this one, and seemed to…

Looking for some more motivational friends...
I've been at this journey hard for the last four months. I've been building muscle and taking in more calories with hopes of seeing some more definition! My ultimate goal is to build up a muscular beach bod and maintain it. I'd love to add some more like minded people to my MFP support team. Let's push each other to…

Emotional Eater?
I find that anytime I get stressed out, I start craving all the bad foods that I've worked so hard to push out of my diet. I try eating healthy foods and filling up, but the cravings come back full force shortly after. At home it's easy enough to skip the cravings because the foods aren't around the house, but at work I…

Asthma when working out
I've always had some asthma when I workout really hard. It's acute, but I still find myself wheezing more often than not. It gets in the way of workouts. Anyone who has a similar experience or knows a lot on the subject have tips to share? Do you find it's worse certain times of the day or in certain climates? Thanks!

Low fat/calorie Lasagna
Low Cal Turkey Lasagna http://allrecipes.com/recipe/vegan-lasagna-i/detail.aspx http://allrecipes.com/recipe/worlds-best-lasagna/detail.aspx I took a dairy free approach to lasagna, or as I like to call it Joci-style food. I did a half batch of the recipes online, it made about 6 portions depending how much you eat. Each…

Demotivation ugh.
I've hit that mark. I can go go go for a few weeks or a couple months, then I get frustrated because I don't lose any weight. I usually gain muscle and don't lose fat. OR...if I do lose weight, it only lasts a couple weeks before I gain it back. Muscle is nice and I want it, but my muscle never seems to grow as much as I…

What are your favorite workouts?
I find during classes, it's very hard to justify working out when I should be studying. Any quick workout strategies you've found helpful?

Working to build muscle...help
I've never quite understood the need for protein shakes. I was taking soy shakes when I wasn't eating much meat to get the additional protein, a few months back, but I worry about then having too much and it then turning to fat instead. Do I need to worry about taking protein supplements to build muscle? My goal is to…

Cholesterol
I remember reading in my nutrition and anatomy classes something about having very low cholesterol being unhealthy for you because you need some of the good cholesterol to transport the bad/unhealthy cholesterol out. So, sometimes my cholesterol is super low, I was wondering if that can be detrimental to my health or my…

Curvy and happy
I've been on this year and a half long trek to rid myself of dairy. It has pretty much sucked, from the aspect of someone who absolutely loves everything cheese. But I have had to let it out of my diet due to allergies, which means pretty much making all my own food at home or being really careful when I go out to eat.…
