Tumblr Fitblr thread
Hi all! I migrated here from CalorieCount after hearing about it on Tumblr from the Fitblr community. Just thought I'd start a thread to help people find each other here and on Tumblr, especially for those of us with different names on each site. List your tumblr name and MFP name so we can meet up! Set a new PR in my half marathon!
I'm not a fast runner by any means, but I broke the 3 hour mark in my half marathon this past weekend. My first half marathon (May 2010) was 3:09 and my half in September 2011 was 3:04. I shaved 9 minutes off- and that's with barely any training during the month prior (due to an illness/lung infection and allowing for a…

Goodbye 200s!
Technically I've said goodbye to the 200s before. I got down to my lowest of 193 in June of 2010. As a job searched after my college graduation (still no luck on full-time work in my field- phooey!), I let depression set in and got back up to....215. Ouch. I had vowed not to go above 200 ever again and here I was over it…

Healthy Holidays! (Christmas Group #2)
Hello All! Someone started up a Christmas group and asked for the first 20 people to commit. Unfortunately I didn't make the 20. :( SO, I have an idea to start a second group. Who knows, maybe we can have a friendly competition with the other challenge group! Rule: 1. 20 people. (Sorry, I just can't track more than that.)…

One ingredient dairy-free ice cream!
Hello all! This has probably been posted before in some capacity, but I haven't seen a specific thread, so I thought I'd share. Just as the title says, you can make dairy-free, low-fat, creamy frozen yogurt with one ingredient. Bananas! Seriously. Just slice a banana or two, freeze them, and them whip them up in your food…

Bake…

New with 60 pounds to lose
Hello all! I thought I would take a quick moment to introduce myself. I'm a 24 year old woman trying to lose the last 2/3 of what I set out to conquer. At my highest I was 236 pounds (three years ago when I graduated college). Since then, I've run my first half marathon and got down to 193. Unfortunately, I'm unemployed…
