Machine calories
I just wanted to post a quick message to show the extent of the discrepancies of calories burnt on the machines to actual ones from a HRM courtesy of my Apple Watch. I knew there would be a difference but not quite so huge considering I entered my data in to the machine (weight and age).

Started my journey in October at 161lbs, down to 142.8lbs at 5' tall. I'm looking at purchasing a Fitbit flex off amazon.co.uk and wondered if anyone knew if it was compatable with the iPhone 6+? It lists up to, and including, the 5. I don't want to buy it if it's not going to work with my phone.

NSV squat achievement....
Had my 2nd ever free weights session today and squatted 50kgs (not sure what that is in lbs) which is up from the 35kgs from my first session last week :) almost squatting my body weight already ha. Small achievement but I'm proud of me so thought I'd share :)

So I finished my pouch of tobacco and decided not to buy another. Was planning on quitting next week when I turn 30 but no time like the present right? Going cold turkey (again) hopefully I'll quit for longer than a year this time!

Cardio gym sessions
I go to the gym 5 days a week, lift 3 times and do cardio twice. Problem is I HATE cardio and just clock watch. Anyone got any tips to make the time go quicker or to make it more enjoyable? I've tried music and tv so far.

Lost appetite and no motivation for the gym

How many times to weight train a week?
Seeing a PT Saturday to give me a workout on free weights. I go to the gym mon-fri, how often should I be lifting? Every other workout with cardio in between? Weekends are rest days where I only walk the dog

Body pump class or free weights?
I'm planning on heading back to the gym tomorrow for the first time in 3/4 months but want to incorporate some strength training in as well as my usual cardio. Would doing 2 or 3 body pump classes be just as good? I find all the men round the free weights in the gym a bit intimidating lol

Painful shins when running or power walking
