I'm back!
I did 5x5 several months ago and stopped to go try P90X3 instead. I wasn't feeling like I was "seeing" any results from 5x5 although I was certainly stronger. But I'm back! ...And feeling pretty wimpy starting back at low weights again.

Runners- do you eat DURING a 1/2 marathon?
I know that it's common for marathoners to eat or at least do the gels during a full marathon, but how about a half? I'm signed up to run my first 1/2 in Orlando next weekend. Do I pack a bag of almonds? A Clif bar? Gel? Nothing? I haven't been training with any food, but I've also only run up to 10 miles at the longest.…

Calorie Intake
I have been on one massive plateau (almost a year!) so I changed my settings from "1 lb. per week deficit" to "maintenance." Circuit or all in a row?
I guess I never considered that I was doing this wrong, but.... when you do your workout, do you do each workout in a circuit 5 times, or do each individual exercise 5 times in a row and then move on to the next one? Nothing like being 7 weeks into a program to realize you're doing it wrong!

Knee Pain
I have been having knee pain since I started the program, and I assume it must be my form. Can anyone offer advice? How long should it take?
I guess I'm just used to P90X and my normal routines, but this seems really short to get through the workout! Even with adding in 10 pull-ups and 10 push-ups with every set I'm still done in 30 minutes. Does this sound right? Will it start taking longer when the weights start getting heavy and you need longer recovery time…

1/2/12- 1/8/12 Mini Challenge
Here's your Challenge for the week: Do 2 sets of 500. For the first set, your laps will be 1 moderate, 1 fast, 2 moderate, 2 fast, 3 moderate, 3 fast, 4 moderate, 4 fast. The second set is descending, start with 4 fast, 4 moderate, etc. Time is not as important as really pushing it for those fast laps!

Timex HRM and gender/height
I know, I know, everyone is all about the Polar. But I got a Timex for Christmas. I like it except there is no way to enter height and sex, just weight. How should I adjust for sex? Take the calories burned and lower it by 25%? 30%? How many more calories do men burn than women assuming the same body weight?
