How Long
How long did it take you to get into the habit of eating healthy and the like? Where it was more or less an everyday thing and not a 2 days good, 3 days bad ordeal?

Bike???
Yes, I've been with MFP for a few years but life became life and I didn't really stay. 2014 brought a new dedication. Along with changing my eating habbits I am aware that a lil cardio and even weights are in order. Still, am a novice. One that hasn't caught the workout bug....yet. Am curious...does any one have this bike?…

Chin Workout
A little odd? Maybe. Regardless, anyone know any amazing chin/neck exercises that may assist with the dreaded double chin? Granted it may partially and/or gradually dissipate as one loses weight but am curious none the less.

clearing your mind
Say you have a lot on your mind and you've already gone for a walk hours before hand. Would you go for yet another jaunt though it is beginning to hit dusk, take a warm bath or attempt to go to bed early?

weekend recipes
I've noticed that when I am working 12 (+) hrs a day that I can do a decent job of tracking my cals and staying within my allotment. Days off, not so much. I am looking for some fun and easy recipes. Easy being the key word for I've also noticed that it is on days off that I crave the fast food and dining out experience.

Crockpot Spaghetti
Today I got a bit inventive with my crockpot spaghetti. Used Italian seasoned turkey rather than hamburger. In addition to mushrooms and onions I added zuchinni & bannana squash as well as brocoli "slaw". Added my normal lentils but am also cooking barilla "plus" multigrain noodles. Instead of my normal Ragu I am trying…

Feeling sick & feeling guilty
Gotta love the flu season...and gotta love working 50 (+) hrs at the front desk of an Urgent Care. Was bound to get sick, eventually. Today was my day. About 10a I texted my boss telling her that I wasn't gonna make it in for my 2p shift. What my boss said: "Can you take some medicine and see how you feel then. It's still…

gripe
Yes. This is a gripe post. I feel like crap. Throat on fire and achey. Blah blah blah. Dr rx'd sleep and fluids. Great, esp since all I want is sleep. Problem? I can't sleep. Tried my new passion flower extract. Took two lorazepams. Am about to resort to benedryl. It shouldn't be this difficult. If my body is exhausted,…

I wanted a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy's like a fish wants water. Away my fiance went on his white horse to slay my crave. I only ate two bites. Was so grossed out. Not…

Passion Fruit Flower Extract
A few weeks ago I heard about passion flower fruit powder/extract on Dr Oz. Supposedly it promotes sleep. My fiance and I both have the worst sleep issues. I was on ambien but after a few too many nights walking around the house in zombie mode and freaking out said fiance, I'm done with it. Was wondering if any one has…

depression
Do any of you happen to suffer from depression? Normally on days off, when my mind has time to itself I tend to get blue. Nothing major. And granted, I haven't been remotely suicidal in years! I know I've come a LONG way ...I see a major difference in myself from 6 mo's ago on back. Still. There are days. And today is one.…

I had posted the following blog mid july. Granted it is still tough but not overwhelmingly so. Anyone else having a tough time getting started? NSV
Not sure the following would be considered an NSV...you tell me. I consider myself a sugerholic. Currently in reform. Would buy Little Debbies and scarf them down in no time. Could not pass up the opportunity for chesecake when we would go to dinner which was at least three times a week. Well. Last night we were at the gas…

greek yougurt and fruit
Normally for breakfast or my morning snack I endulge in some plain greek yogurt with a cup of fresh fruit. Well, money is tight this week so was thinking of buying the greek yogurt with fruit already in it. I know that fresh fruit is better for you but am hoping, for one week that prepackaged is ok. Any thoughts?

Anyone looking for members for Gary's Sept Challange?
I wish I were on a team....ANY team. Normally I abhor working out, I cringe at the idea. Yet, this challange has more than sparked an interest...it has left me desperate to join a group. First time I've EVER been stoked about the prospect of working out and pushing myself to my limits. So please, PLEASE, if there are ANY…
