Getting Going again
I dropped off the healthy lifestyle in November when there was a death in the family. I have gained back 13 lbs. and feel like crap. I am starting over and am determined to keep on track this time. I know I can do this!!! :drinker:

Better than I thought
I lost 3 more lbs. this past month. I didn't expect it because I fell off the wagon quite a bit but always jumped back on. I sure am thrilled to see it though. I also just signed up at the gym and will be working out A LOT more now.

Signing up
I am going to sign up for Anytime Fitness tomorrow. I am excited to have a place to go workout at anytime cause trying to do it at home just isn't working for me.

Changed my goals
I changed my goals from 2 lbs. a week to 1.5 lbs. a week. I think that may have been my problem. I did 1 lb. a week to see what it would say but I simply could not eat that much food. I feel more comfortable with this new goal. Just thought I would share. :flowerforyou:

I did it!
I finally ordered a HRM! I was so undecided about it because of a budget but I found a REEBOK HEART RATE MONITOR PRECISION TRAINER XT for $35. I ordered it and should get it here in under a week. :happy:

At Home Cardio
I am at home all the time and find it difficult to get motivated but I think if maybe I had some variety I would be more excited about exercise. I have s good amount of strength training exercises but I need some good cardio ideas. So my question is... What cardio things can I do at home that don't involve any machines or…

So proud of myself!!
I took my measurements today and looked at my totals and am so proud of myself. In just 3 months the results were: Waist: 8 inches lost Hips: 4.5 inches lost Arms: 2 inches lost Legs (thighs): 2.5 inches lost Total inches = 17 inches lost I just HAD to brag!!!

It wasn't meant to be
I was gonna have me 1 piece of candy from last night and to my surprise it was covered in little bitty spider webs and it was sooooo nasty. I almost threw up and totally lost my candy craving. :sick: :sick: :sick:

Got a question (pushing a stroller)
I went for a walk today and when I go for a walk I am always pushing a stroller. So when i log my exercise do i log walking AND pushing a stroller? Or do I just log 1 of them??

It's that special time of the month for me and I just want to eat eat eat! How does everyone else resist blowing it with the sweets cravings and the salty cravings? Thanks Amanda

I fell off track for a couple days but I am back to it now. I am hoping the bad days become fewer after a while. :smile:

Feeling Down
I'm feeling down. Yesterday was a bad day and I am still in a funk from it. I just want to cry, scream and yell but I can't do that in front of my kids. I just need a break and there doesn't seem to be one in my future. Thanks for listening. I am just having a po me pity party. :yawn: :ohwell:

In a lazy funk
I have been in a lazy funk lately. I am eating good but can't seem to get off my butt. I am trying to figure out why. Could it be this cough/cold kicking my butt? the lack of sleep due to DH working overnights this week? Or the simple fact that I am just lazy? :yawn:

I am new to the site. My name is Amanda and I am currently battling my weight and doing ok so far. I have lost 18 lbs. so far. I weigh myself once a month so I don't have to deal with disappointments. :wink: I hope to meet some great people here and find some great support.
