Trying to not be so lazy. Beach walk and a short run today. That puts me at 45/100. Hope you all had a great weekend.0 -
Today I ran my first 10 mile race. I never thought I would run again after under going knee surgery ithe end of March and here I finished 10 miles. Slower then my last years mile pace but none the less a great come back.
Sunday, Nov. 9: 12 miles (10 miles running the EQT 10 miler and 2 miles of walking for warm up and cool down)
TTD: 97.25 miles

Congrats! 10 miles is impressive in any shape, especially post-surgery.
As for me, after two sucky nights at work, I got outside for a 5.3 mile run/walk. My one mile run was a little on the faster side for me, but it felt good to move in the 60 degree weather. I walked the rest, realized it cured my headache and kept going longer than I had planned.

CLEPANT - Congrats on your 10-miler today!! That's wonderful to come back after knee surgery. :flowerforyou:
KAR328 - Exercise is so good for knocking out headaches. I had one most of the day today and told my son on the way to the gym that I still had it and he said we should go home. I said "NO WAY! That's the best thing I can do for it!"
Well after falling further and further behind from the green, I got home after doing 2.1 miles walking on the treadmill at the gym, I was still so far behind that I hopped on my stationary bike at home and knocked out another 10 miles to catch up at least until midnight. lol

Friday- lost my gps signal mid-run I know the run was at least 5 miles plus warm-up and cool-down, so I'm logging 5.5 miles for that.
Sunday afternoon- had a great ride with a bunch of girls, likely our last nice weather day of the season (cold front hits tomorrow!) Logging over 32 miles for that!
That will keep me in green for a while!0 -
