I made a meatloaf. First time ever. And water wok-ed broccoli

And chardonnay my dear nephew brought in sympathy for the sick pup. Poor little guy.

Hard to believe your first attempt at meatloaf...I'm surprised...you're such a great cook. Belly rubs to sweet doggie...and those delicious behind the ear massages.

I had 8.5 hours last night! The ONLY downside to all of this: once I UPPED the progesterone the scale started going up (yes, eating the same things I normally eat). I'm hopeful that it's primarily water, and hopeful that once my body gets used to this, it will go back down to my "normal" weight.

Happy u r sleeping better...way better. Me, too. Eating the same, but I guess being fully engaged the entire day at work (no daydreaming at this new job...no time) is making sleeping so much better (NOW, that I am not stressing so much since I am finally "getting it"). Hope it continues.

    Lots of repeats.

    shredded wheat, banana, milk, coffee
ezekiel avocado swiss romaine sammy, two cuties
    olives and steamed edamame
spag squash, jasmine rice, grilled salmon

We went to a huge buffet last night. My dinner:
    crab legs
    shrimp
a tiny bit of paella (so mussels, shrimp, rice)
    green beans
    watermelon
    chardonnay

    I did pretty well!

Today I'm going head downstairs for a small breakfast to go with the cheese I just had, then go for a long walk and find lunch. Dinner will be out, again, but I'm sure will be fine!

Today was the day. It was clear our baby boy was really struggling. Tonight the best dog EVER left us. He and I had been together for 15 years. Even before hubs. Hubs and I are both grieving, but know it was the right decision.

It SUCKS. But his pain is gone.

I am so very, very sorry, Sabine. I know the heartache...the pain is almost unbearable. But knowing your sweet boy is no longer struggling and can now run free over The Rainbow Bridge...and play with all his buds...well, it might ease the pain just a bit. Loads of hugs coming your way. <3

I made a great soup off a interest board the other day, and when I went to add it to my log (I'm logging for a few weeks while my body gets used to the progesterone) it turned out to be a south beach diet recipe. How fun. It was yummy. http://www.food.com/recipe/south-beach-thai-shrimp-soup-with-lime-and-cilantro-195711

You can do it!! 135 is in sight!
I'm a few pounds over that right now (due to the menopause/hormone change), but I'll get right back there with you!

I'm up and ready for a run.
Hubs and I went shopping yesterday and made some foods for the week:
He made a casserole with cabbage and some left over bacon
I made a casserole with broccoli, cauliflower, leeks and turkey sausage (in a yummy mustard and sour cream sauce)
And we made a shrimp bisque soup.

    yum
