    Hi Roger!
We got back Friday night. It was a nice little getaway, but I'm happy to be home. I got a call from my doc the first day down there, I needed a stronger antibiotic. Luckily we were close to a Target store. The doc called it in there and I had the new prescription in no time. :) We were close to a beach, visited the old part of Charleston...market, French quarter, and a couple of plantations and a swamp. I think the swamp was my favorite...have never visited one before, and it was run by the Audubon society and had a nice wooden walkway. :)

    Good morning.
Roger, congrats on getting to your goal weight or Dr. approved weight. :) It's good that you're sticking with it and easing off for maintenance.
I think I'm going to try a modified elimination diet. I found one where you gradually drop categories of food for 3 weeks, then start adding them back in one at a time to see how it affects you. It also goes into toiletries and household cleaning products. I think that will be the hardest part to modify. I may keep some of the cleaning products, regardless, and just be more careful using them. I haven't finished reading the book, so don't have all the details of that yet....may have to look some things up.
My son also gave me the name of a more holistic Dr, so I may check into seeing her after I see my rheumatologist this coming week. I feel like I need a break from doctors, so I may wait a while. Also want to see whether the rheumatologist will suggest anything more natural. I am definitely not good with any type of drugs or medications. Everyone's different.
Anyway, thanks for listening. Sometimes it helps to put thoughts into words. Some of this getting old stuff is pretty scary...at best, uncomfortable!
Hope you have a great weekend. :)

    Hi Vix
You seem to be semi allergic to many things and that must make it hard. For example I can use regular laundry soap whereas my brother has to use the unscented Hypoallergenic Laundry soap. He also uses Boraxo and Bluing with his laundry where I can use a color safe bleach.

If I had known, Believed more likely I guess, that I would live this Long I would have taken better care of myself.

So far so good working at maintenance :)

    Have a Nice day

haha...yes, if only we knew then!
Went for a walk in the park. The weather is perfect. Then came home and pulled up some mint that we planted last year, it was taking over the flower bed. So....got my exercise and outdoor time in for today! :) (I'm pretty tired!)

    Hi Roger!
It's supposed to get up to 82 today...just put on a T-shirt and jeans...off to pottery co-op this morning, then wheel class this afternoon. Did my PT exercises.
Good that you got your walk in before it gets too hot...also supposed to be t-storms later.
    Have a great day! :)

    Hi Vix
We managed to avoid the Thunderstorms unless some rolled through in the night when I was asleep. TBH I would have liked to see more rain, I may have to water later, I need to check the soil and see if it is dry or not.

It was cool enough this morning (Wednesday) that I wore a light Long sleeve shirt over my T-Shirt and gloves while walking :)

    Have a Great Day

It's kind of chilly here (high of 56) today and overcast, possible showers almost every day for the next 3 weeks...April showers coming in May.
I've gotten my pictures mostly set up. I have to take one down from the last show so I can re-use the frame for one of my current pictures. I've got 3 for this show, had 4 up for the last one. I've been picking up frames, mostly at flea markets, but I don't want to have too many of them...it would take up too much room.
Hope you have a great day too. :)

    Hi Vix
I looked at the outside Thermometer and it showed the same temperature as Yesterday so I wore the same amount of clothes, It was just as chilly starting out until I warmed up from walking too.

Rain in the forecast, supposedly later today into Friday as spotty rain.

What a great idea frames from the flea market, I suspect You can get some less expensive and still better looking that way too.

    Have a Nice Day

Mostly I just have to clean them up. Some need new mats and backing board, and some need a new coat of paint or sanding and refinishing. I try to buy frames that have glass in them. Last time I got 3 frames for $1 each. Can't beat that. :)

    Hi Vix
You are so right, $1 each, You can not buy the cheapest imported Junk frames for those prices :)

We have some nice antique frames with pictures and such in them here. They sure did ornate and quality then. The ones with the curved glass are especially nice too. I'm not sure how You could photograph them however.

    Have a Good Day

    Thanks, you too.
I usually get fairly simple wooden frames. They're the easiest to deal with.

    Hi Vix
I just looked out the window and so far the afternoon into evening forecast rainfall looks like another fail. The Street is wet except under the trees where the pavement is dry. Not much help in avoiding having to water :)

I guess all the moisture and gloom is hanging down here....seems to have rained over night, gray, chilly, foggy this morning, and we're suppposed to get t-storms tonight. No watering necessary.
    Happy Saturday, Roger. :)
