Hi all, back from the dentist and a massage. I got my filling replaced, but will need a crown because he found a small crack line in the bed of the tooth, and it will not last with just a filling it it. So, will do that sometime later. Glad I got dental insurance this year.
Jo, hope you get some time to relax between all that running around.
Roger, some of those animal dances were really interesting. :) I wonder if there was a problem with the Ferrari that caused that accident...what a shame.
    Hi Irene.
Going to the chiropractor later and then to exchange one of our xfinity boxes...they did something and we can't get netflix on our 2nd one without a special box now. But it's a free exchange, so might as well.
I have a busy week coming up.
    Happy Monday, everyone. :)

    Hi Vix
I am curious what company is providing Your Dental insurance, as I could use some too.

I am sorry to hear that the Dentist found a crack :(

I do not know if we will ever find out what happened.

Interesting, It sounds like they did a so-called software upgrade on the box. Possibly to make room in it's memory for the upgrade.

I Am considering dropping Netflix due to lack of use.

    Good morning.
Roger, I just got GEHA dental insurance this year....I think it's just for federal employees, retirees, and their families. It's kind of expensive, but this year turns out it is cost effective for me. I know some people that have MetLife dental insurance and seem happy with that one. You probably want to ask your dentist what insurance he accepts, and go from there.
My son put us on his Netflix, so it's a gift. :) We find things there to watch.
One of my friends from painting class is going to clay group with me this morning....that should be fun.

Vix-It is good that you have dental insurance, crowns are expensive. My insurance pays 80%.

Lawrence man arrested twice in one day for naked Sunday strolls down Mass Street

    By Sarah Gish
    July 31, 2017 2:00 PM
A 34-year-old man was arrested twice on Sunday afternoon for walking naked through downtown Lawrence, causing a stir among the shops and restaurants.

“Jaws dropped,” says Sophie Milstein, a server at 715 Restaurant, at 715 Massachusetts St. “It was from a movie or something.”

According to police, Christopher Steven Carlson of Lawrence was first taken into custody at around 2 p.m. Sunday on Massachusetts near Ninth Street. He was cited for indecent exposure, fined $500 and released.

Within minutes, photos started circulating on Snapchat and Facebook. An image of a bearded man walking nude past Garry Gribble’s Running Sports, 839 Massachusetts St., was posted to the Facebook page Lawrence KS Community & Police Scanner, and had more than 900 shares by noon on Monday.
“It’s one thing to streak, run, jog,” another man posted. “But to stroll, walk, electric slide — c’mon, man.”

According to police, Carlson was cited again for indecent exposure and theft of services at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, when he was spotted sans clothes on West 10th Street just west of Massachusetts. The police were called after a driver with Ground Transportation Services reported that he had taken a 34-year-old man from the Douglas County Jail to downtown.

According to a police report, the driver said the man didn’t have money to pay his fare, “took off his clothes and left the vehicle.”

    Good afternoon,
It rained hard last night. Today is sunny and humid.
I brought by glasses back to Target. I couldn't get use to them. The frames were plastic and bigger than I normally wear. So I got a new pair of metal frames with high index progressive lenses and it only cost me $100.00 more.
It was still a lot less than if I went to my eye doctor's office.

EXCLUSIVE: Al Gore’s Home Devours 34 Times More Electricity Than Average U.S. Household
Drew Johnson Senior Fellow, National Center for Public Policy Research
    10:39 AM 08/02/201
    Excerpt:
On Friday, Al Gore’s sequel to “An Inconvenient Truth” – “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” – arrives in movie theaters across the country. But there’s another inconvenient sequel worth noting and, like most sequels, this one is even worse than the original.

Gore’s hypocritical home energy use and “do as I say not as I do” lifestyle has plunged to embarrassing new depths.

In just this past year, Gore burned through enough energy to power the typical American household for more than 21 years, according to a new report by the National Center for Public Policy Research. The former vice president consumed 230,889 kilowatt hours (kWh) at his Nashville residence, which includes his home, pool and driveway entry gate electricity meters. A typical family uses an average of 10,812 kWh of electricity per year, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

    Weird news yesterday IMO
Baltimore throwing out police cases since a couple officers were caught supposedly planting evidence.
    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/another-baltimore-police-body-cam-video-shows-officers-plant-drugs-n789396
I said supposedly since a alternative narrative was that they were seen recreating finding the evidence.
Either way I would not want to be a Police officer in that town.

Hi, the Baltimore police are not all shining examples. I'm sure there are some good ones, and it is a rough place to be a police officer. There are some nice things/events in the city, but there is also decay and negative things going on. I think a lot of our cities are like that. I tend to avoid a lot of cities! I don't think I would have thought twice about it when I was young, cities were fun. Now they're more of a hassle. Nice to visit once in a while.

    Good afternoon;
Roger-I have had no problems with the progressive eye glasses and I am prone to motion sickness. Congrats on the 10cents.
The birdhouse that my little birds were in fell apart. I found it on the ground and the roof still attached to the bracket that it was on. There was nesting material on the ground, but I saw no evidence of the birds. :(
Vix-Most cities are like that because they are more populated.
