Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday!
It's a chilly 45 degrees outside, with an expected sunny high of 79! Winter, Spring, and Summer keep changing places here.
I have a bit of laundry left to fold, and need to pick up some prescriptions at the vet for Lilo, if they are ready.

Good morning.
Currently 52 and partly cloudy with a high of 73 expected....warm again!
No special plans for today. I may return a pair of sneakers I bought online (not comfortable), if I want to take a drive. I did laundry and some cleaning yesterday, and spent some time outdoors with our grandson in the morning...so much fun.
I've had a pain in my neck for the last 3 days, so I've made an appt for a massage on Friday. I haven't had one of those in quite a while. Looking forward to it. Hopefully will make my neck feel better.

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! It's 51 sunny degrees out there and we are expecting a partly cloudy high of 84! The lawn guys have already been by, as I was eating my breakfast that finished off the sliced ham.
I am glad I finished my cut-through before scheduled date. I am sure they would have offered to finish it (for a price) but that was MY Spring project, and burned more than a few calories for me. Supervising them would not have been the same at all. I am sure they would have ended up doing a good job, but I saved money too by doing it myself.
Today I need to pick up some scrips for Lilo, as they are ready, and may pop around to Kroger for a couple of items, though I did get a delivery yesterday with most of what I needed. The Instacart drivers have been doing a great job with my orders, but I still want to get in there myself now and then to check out the produce section, and all the manager's special sections.

Good morning.
I returned the sneakers yesterday. Also made some appointments. I want to get things taken care of before surgery. I have an appt with a podiatrist for next week...my big toe is bothering me, and I made an appt for a dental cleaning...I have to wait 6-9 months after surgery to see a dentist (except in emergency).
I'm going to the library in a little while to pick up a book and drop off some I've read.
It's a beautiful day, so will spend some time outdoors. It's currently 59 degrees and sunny with a high of 77 expected. Nice!
Our cherry trees are blooming in our yard and all over our neighborhood...absolutely gorgeous.

Good morning.
It rained overnight...may still be raining. Cloudy day, currently 50 with a high of 61 expected, a bit cooler than it's been.
I ordered a bedset and curtains with construction vehicles on it for my grandson's new big boy bed, and new bedroom. They came yesterday and are so cute and colorful. I'm sure he's going to love them. I also ordered some baby girl clothes from TJMaxx yesterday. Not sure when they will get here, but we have plenty of time.
I have a massage scheduled for this morning. Yay! And will pick up some more books at the library this afternoon.

I need to take J's car for a spin. I hope J left it with enough gas, after taking it out of town last weekend. If not, then I may be getting gas in it while out, as well as eggs, milk, and a few other grocery items.
Not a lot on the agenda today, otherwise. I may get a small walk in.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. We went for a 5 mile walk through the woods and saw 10 deer. We also saw a fox right around the corner from our house going into the neighbor's yard.
Vix-baby girl clothing? Did I miss an announcement?
Ed-your ham looked so good. Dr. wants me to stay away from salty foods, so no ham for me.
Today I have an eye appt for glaucoma check, Thursday I go for my EMG test, Friday follow up with the hand Dr. and Sat. my second vaccine shot. Then I hope I am done with Dr.'s for a while.

Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday!
It's currently 47 sunny degrees out there and we have an expected sunny high of 81 today.
I need to run a package by the UPS store to send a return item back. It's prepaid so I just need to drop it off. While out I may pick up something for lunch, or at least stop at a grocery, or Walgreens. I ate the last three chocolate kisses yesterday when my blood glucose was plummeting. There is always plain sugar for that but I would much rather use chocolate candy when I need a quick boost, so I like to keep something like kisses, or fun size candy bars, on hand for it. And I can carry some with me when I am out.
Joanne, Saturday will be my second vaccine shot too! I will feel a bit less stressed once that is done, and more so after another two weeks has passed from the second shot.
I woke up with a slight headache this morning, but haven't taken anything for it as yet. I am hoping that once I have digested my breakfast and morning beverages it may wander off on its own. I suspect the pollen.
Dinner last night was Moroccan style shakshuka, as I happened on a premade jar at Kroger. I suspect it is not a product they will be making a lot of, but if it was a test run, who knows? It was good. All I had to do was heat it up in a skillet, add eggs on top to poach to desired doneness, and serve it up. J likes it over spaghetti, and I am OK with that too, but there wasn't enough spaghetti for two, and I didn't want mine over some other pasta that would have to be prepared separately. So I had mine on a slice of sourdough toast.
Other than the package run, nothing critical on today's agenda.

Jo, yes! My daughter will be having a little girl in September! We are all excited and delighted!
Good luck with your eye exam and EMG test, and congrats on getting your 2nd shot Saturday. My 2 weeks is up today....fully covered. Yay! Your walk sounds wonderful. I'm looking forward to being able to do that again.
Ed, your dinner sounds good, as usual! Congrats to you too for getting your 2nd shot on Saturday. Yay! I hope your headache goes away. I started keeping Dove dark chocolate pieces at home for a treat. Sometimes I just need chocolate! Enjoy your warm weather.
We had an unexpected nice sunny day yesterday after a cloudy morning, then some really huge t-storms last night. It's currently 51 and cloudy, high of 60 today with rain developing this afternoon.
I need to make some phone calls today, and possibly order some refills for my supplements. Don't have to go anywhere. Will see what the day brings.

It's currently 51 sunny degrees out there but clouds may roll in later, with a decent chance of thunderstorms and a high of 82.
Supper last night was meatless taco salad, with home made honey mustard dressing drizzled over the lettuce. Breakfast this morning was a small cheese omelet, sausage, and sourdough toast with butter and the last of the sugar free marmalade. I guess it's about time to select another sugar free fruit spread. Marmalade is a rare treat in that, as I usually get peach, strawberry, or blackberry, with an occasional foray into other berries or fruits.
I have Lilo's Wednesday afternoon fluid treatment to attend to, but nothing else critical. I will probably do some house cleaning.

Ed, marmalade is a treat...can't remember when last I had it. It's currently 52 here and mostly cloudy, with a high of 61 expected, possible rain later.
I am so happy about our new granddaughter to be....when I went to TJMaxx yesterday, I couldn't resist buying a couple of cute little outfits.
I am heading over to the podiatrist this morning, I have a toe that's bothering me.
I'll straighten up the house a little today, a physical therapist is coming tomorrow to evaluate what I will need before and after surgery.

Breakfast was two eggs, over easy, one small breakfast chop, and some Swerve (brown sugar type) and cinnamon oatmeal, along with two Mozzarella string cheese sticks and a mandarin orange. Nothing on the agenda today. A nap would be nice.

Ed, sounds like a yummy breakfast.
The podiatrist fixed what turned out to be an ingrown toenail yesterday, so that will take about a week to heal. And I went to the dentist this morning....had my teeth cleaned and got a fluoride treatment. They also found a very small cavity, which I'll have fixed next week. Appt set.
The Physical therapist will be here in a few minutes to check out my house and me and see what we'll need to do/get before and after surgery. She sounds very nice over the phone.

Good morning;
Yesterday was a horrible day, weather wise. It was either snowing or raining all day with strong winds.
I had my EMG on Thurs. and I have carpel tunnel and a pinched nerve in my neck. My hand isn't bad enough that I need surgery, so will be monitoring it.
I am getting ready to go for my second shot this morning and then spend the day with my daughter walking around Boston.
Some creature ate all of my tulip plants. They were just about to open up and next time I looked they were all eaten.

It's 53 mostly cloudy degrees now with an expected cloudy high of 68.
I am scheduled to get my second Moderna shot this afternoon. J got the second on Thursday and was feeling some sinus and throat aggravation, and more joint pains than usual, yesterday, so we are blaming that on the Thursday shot. Hopefully nothing worse than that, but I am a big boy now. What happens, happens.
I plan to start a small slow cooker of beef stew going this morning so I won't have to do much for dinner tonight or, hopefully, tomorrow.
