good morning, we went for 1 hour and 16 minutes it was chilly but we all bundled up even Annie had her coat on. I did get on the treadmill and did 26 minutes my steps are11,739 so I am happy. Jo I am sorry Sophie is having problems we worry so much about them. Vix great news about your tooth. Roger when I get Chinese I get steam chicken and veggies and brown rice but I find myself putting a lot of the sauce .well take care everyone
    Hi Irene
Today was not to bad out the door and then a breeze came up and I wished I had worn the warmer sweatshirt under the Hoodie, Oh well.

I did get my brothers Christmas cards mailed, We always drop mail in the slot in the lobby for security reasons. There have been instance of people fishing mail out of the outside mailboxes as shown on the TV news. Better safe than sorry

The Sauce is likely the killer item in the Meat and Broccoli, When I remember I tell them no rice or fortune cookies. It sounds as if You get the sauce on the side. Brown rice is better than white rice is something I agree with. So what happens ? I avoid the rice and end up with the calorie bomb known as a Egg Roll :(

    Good Luck

    Good afternoon;
I got out of work early yesterday and today. I guess people are shopping for Christmas presents and not food. It has been really slow at work.
Vix-enjoy the deli. I love corned beef on rye from a deli.
    Hi Irene and Roger.
Hubby and I signed up at the Y. We have our first orientation session on Sunday morning.

I just posted some humor, I liked the creativity in the Christmas one

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 32 degrees.

I did fill the car yesterday the Exon was down to $2.33 and 9 tenths per gallon. I also saw a Conoco while I was out and about @ $2.17, I know the cars run OK on Exxon, Not to sure about Conoco as they have not been around the area for years. Also I would love to know the Alcohol percentage before buying. I know for example that the lawn mower says not to use E15 so I do need to buy E10 gas and I think the Buick being a 1999 should not use E15 either. It is now up to almost 17K on the Odometer and that is after the 3 stops yesterday

    Hello Irene
Yup, Chinese is fattening unless ordered carefully then it can work. I suspect that most of the unhealthy calories in the meat/shrimp broccoli dishes come from the sauce.

Congratulations on the walking then doing the treadmill.

    Hi Joanne
I think You are right, I was at the ShopRite Grocery Store yesterday a little after Noon time and the lot was pretty empty and the checkout lines were very short.

I like a Good thick Pastrami on Rye or a Thick Corned Beef on Rye, In my case no Mustard, only a little Au Jus for the taste. The ShopRite has been selling a Wagyu Corned Beef Reuben Sandwiches, Well marbled naturally.

    Enjoy the Y.
I need to exercise more too beyond just the walking. No Y near me that I would go to due to their location.

    Have a Nice Day

    Hello Irene
Good going finding money, I am not doing good this second half of 2018 :(

When I get the Phone Call from NS the Frozen is on the way I know to get ready to check it in and put it in the freezer the same day as it usually comes the same day as the call

    Hi Vix
I could hear Jets in the sky, the clouds must be low this morning as I could not see them. I predict a gloomy looking day outdoors.

Congratulations on the Woodpecker, Usually I hear them and I have seen one eating at the Suet hanging there for them.

I hope tomorrows weather is better than forecast.

Vix-I hope the vitamin C helps.
    Irene-congrats on finding money.
    Hi Roger.
When I came home from work today my street was blocked off and the gas company was at one end of the street. I went around the block and was able to get onto my street from the other end. I still don't know what they were doing.
I lost another lb. My total since starting back on NS is 13.2 lbs lost. It is slow going, but I don't mind as long as the lbs. keep coming off.
    Have a great evening. :)

Yesterday was a busy for me day. Haircut, Home Depot, CostCo, Then a run to the recycle yard and Putting up the Christmas Tree. That is the cheapest I have gotten out of CostCo in a while, Under $40
