Good morning.
Already getting hot when I went for my little walk this a.m. I'm starting to go through my clothes to see what I want to get rid of. I think I'll just do a little bit each day. The baby blanket I'm knitting is finally starting to make some headway. Looks about 2/3 there, very slow!
It's currently 77F, sunny, then thunderstorms developing this afternoon. Storms may contain strong gusty winds. High 93F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous (and possibly soggy) Sunday! It's 21 (69.8 F) partly cloudy degrees out there now with no wind, and we have an expected high of 28 (82.4 F) under partly sunny skies, with a 67% chance of rain, that might include thunder and lightning. It actually looks like it could rain any time now.
I did pick a few blueberries yesterday, just to have some in the house to snack on. I hope the neighbor came by to pick some the other day, as he said he might, but don't actually know. Production has slowed down, but there are still some green and red berries yet to ripen, mostly on the back bush that tends to run just a bit behind the others.
I was able to get a nice bowl full and had some of those in my oatmeal for breakfast this morning. I will be a bit sorry to see the blueberry season end for the year, but I have enough in the freezer to get me well through until next season, and it IS a bit of work getting them picked and frozen. Still well worth it to me, especially with the price of fresh or even frozen blueberries at the grocery! It will be nice to enjoy my own home grown frozen berries in the fall, winter, and spring.
Nothing critical on the agenda for today, but maybe some sweeping of floors.

Good morning.
Ed, I always keep frozen blueberries in my house, but fresh out of the garden is wonderful.
We had lots of t-storms yesterday afternoon and evening and overnight. Electricity flickered on and off a few times.
It's nice this morning, went for my little walk. It was 68F, cloudy, and a bit breezy, perfect for a walk.
Partly cloudy skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. High 82F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
I've been enjoying looking out my window while exercising. There is our spruce tree and red maple that the birds love, and our butterfly bushes, which are slowly but surely attracting all kinds of beautiful butterflies to watch. I saw a hummingbird moth yesterday.

Looks like everyone is keeping busy. It has been humid and rainy for about a week now.
The sun is supposed to come out today.
Everyone in my family now has been fully vaccinated.
I am getting a little braver. I have actually gone into a few stores without my mask. I still wear one at work at all times.
I signed up for Medicare part A this week. I won't need part B or a supplemental insurance until I retire.

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! I slept in surprisingly late, and more surprisingly the cats sort of let me. Dinah did try laying on me but when I rolled over she left and didn't come back.
Nice to see you back and posting, Joanne. I felt really weird the first couple of times I went into a store without a mask, and still carry one with me, just in case, but it is great to have that as an option now, and not a requirement. I still see a lot of people wearing them, and fully understand why they might want to. I think our new "normal" will not be like the old "normal" in many ways.
We currently have 22 (C) degrees under cloudy skies, with an expected high of 24 (C) with overcast skies pretty much all day and a72% chance of rain, which could include lightning and thunder.
I don't think I NEED to be anywhere but home today, which is fine with me.

Jo, congrats on everyone in your family being fully vaccinated. We are too, except for the little one. And congrats on applying for your medicare part A. Watch the time limits for filing for part B. I'm still wearing my mask in stores. I walked into one, and realized I forgot my mask, and I didn't feel comfortable. I have very low trust level of the general public!
Ed, I slept in late this morning too, after 7:00! Didn't even feel like getting up. It is nice to have a maskless option.

May go to look at some bathroom fixtures today, and I have a PT appt in the early afternoon.

Ed, we have recylcling pickup today, garbage is Friday. 2 days to remember to put things out.

It's currently 23 (73 F) fair degrees out there with an expected high of 31 (88 F) under partly cloudy skies, overall, with a 44% chance of rain that could include thunder and lightning.
I had ramen noodles last night, a very rare treat, with two small, thin sliced, center cut pork chops, diced up, and a lot of extra veggies. I used a minimum amount of water, to have it as noodles, rather than soup. It made a delicious treat for my Sunday dinner.
Breakfast was brown sugar cinnamon oatmeal with sausage links on the side.
No definite plans for today, but may pop out for a few grocery items.

The air quality index is 146 and it has been hazy. I am glad that I don't have to work outside.
We are slowly sprucing up the inside of the house, just little thing and also decluttering.
I am tackling one small project at a time. There was a time I would take on a whole room at once.

Jo, it's been hazy here too, and we've been getting daily air quality alerts. It's wonderful that you are always fixing things around your house. I just bought some organizers for under the bathroom sink, so have to work on getting things sorted and put away. We bought a simple round mirror for our guest bathroom yesterday.
Ed, our weather is really similar. It's currently 71F, abundant sunshine. Hot. High 92F. Winds light and variable. We had a t-storm yesterday evening, and probably a bit of rain overnight. I've gone for a very short walk.
My classes are starting up again, so I have a few phone calls to make, and general things to do around the house.

It's 22 (72 F) sunny degrees out there now with an expected high of 31(88 F), with partly sunny skies and 68% chance of rain that could include some thunder and lightning. That seems to be the norm the last few days. At least the rain has been coming mostly in the evenings so it doesn't get in the way of my doing anything outside.
Not that I have wanted to be outside much the last few sultry days! When I step out, I immediately want to get right back inside escape the heat and humidity.

Tonight's "taco Tuesday" dinner. Taco flavored Knorr rice mix, prepared with a can of Ranch Style beans and half a pound of seasoned "beef for stir fry", topped with shredded sharp Cheddar. I did velvet the beef, using baking soda, before seasoning and quick frying it.

The next few days are all forecast to be excessively hot so I think I will be staying in as much as possible.

We ordered a blue top-down, bottom-up cellular shade for our MB. I think it will be similar to the wall color we picked out.
Today I have PT this morning, and the house cleaner is coming, so I've kind of decluttered. I have some major decluttering that needs to be done in my house, cleaning drawers and closets, etc. I'm starting with the bathrooms.
It's currently 68F and kind of foggy. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon. Some of the storms may become severe with damaging winds. High around 85F.
