We stopped by to see the little ones yesterday. It is so much fun to see them. They are such little characters! They keep us smiling. 🥰
Yesterday we went out to lunch in Frederick, I had a pear salad, yum. Then we walked around the downtown for a bit.
I have some errands to run today, library, pick up a few things, etc.
It's currently 45F, 7C. Abundant sunshine. High 67F, 19C. Winds light and variable.

I didn't get to the library yesterday, so will do that today. We went to TJMaxx instead. Picked up some soap, and some cute little baby socks (couldn't resist).
I have an acupuncture appt in a couple of hours, so will stop at the library after that.
Our son and daughter-in-law are going to the hospital to have the baby today, we'll be waiting for the news.
It's currently 47F, 8C. Partly cloudy skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. High 68F, 20C. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph.

We have 14 (Celsius) sunny degrees with an expected sunny high of 22 and 2% chance of precipitation.
I need to get to PetSmart for some cat food, and to a grocery store or two. I have to buy some kind of turkey for Thanksgiving. And I need to buy or get ingredients for dessert.
Jason has recovered enough to go up to Kentucky for a couple of weeks. He'll help his mother get things taken care of. That house that she was supposed to get seems to have evaporated, but my sister who lives there has a friend in real estate who may be able to help with finding something.

Great news here. The baby girl arrived at approximately 12:40 a.m today. 6lbs, 1 oz and 18 inches of love. Mom and baby are doing well, Dad is over the moon, beautiful family. Grandparents are elated. 🥰

I got what I needed from the store yesterday, but may get back out today for some holiday things that I want, but can't claim that I need. LOL.
And I have a small load, mostly new socks, in the dryer to fold and put away.

I got out for my "fun" shopping today.
I picked up a few things besides the fun stuff, because I happened to see them while in the three stores I visited.
As I have some minor surgery (it's only really minor if it's happening to someone else, right?) scheduled for December 5, I have decided to skip the usual wine calendar and cheese calendar for this year.
I will be a teetotaler for at least a couple of weeks around that date.
But I will still be having a holiday booze calendar!
I picked up this calendar for the 12 Days of Christmas.
Then, in my usual Autumn tradition, this year's two bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau.

We have 13 (Celsius) cloudy degrees (feels like 12) with an expected cloudy high of 15 and 17% chance of precipitation.
I got all the laundry folded and put away. For supper last night I made a taco rice with chicken casserole topped with plenty of cheese. Guess what I had for breakfast this morning and will probably have for lunch and supper today? LOL.
We'll see what the workday brings. It's a short three day work week and extra long weekend starting with Thursday!

Our new granddaughter is Madison! (Sounds like a very grown up name, my son is already calling her Maddy.) She is so cute, with a full head of dark hair! She was sleeping most of the time we were there, makes the sweetest little baby sounds in her sleep, and I did get to hold her for a few minutes. It was great to see them, they are so happy. They'll be going home today.

I went for my follow-up eye appt. this morning, everything looks good. I have to go back in about 3 weeks for another
check and to have my eyes dilated. I still have to put drops in my eyes for a while.
Currently 37F with a high of 39F. It is sunny, but chilly.

I have had it in coffee in the past. I usually have it straight up now, but mostly because I don't tend to drink coffee in the evening. I may have some decaf with some of it though, just for fun.

I went to the DRs and he read the MRI it showed I had mini strokes not sure when I will be seeing a Neurologist January 30 so wish me luck.

My 2023 Thanksgiving feast.
Sliced Cajun turkey, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, classic green bean casserole, turkey gravy, and a huge pan of my home made cornbread dressing. Served with a single Cheesecake Factory brown roll, buttered. Wine of choice, Purple Toad Winery Pinot Noir, 2019, saved for a special occasion and this is it!
Dessert of pumpkin pie, and one bite size pecan tart.

I hope everyone had a good day yesterday.
I made a chicken pie and mashed potatoes, stuffing, squash, green beans and corn. My daughter is vegetarian lot of veggies for her. We had apple pie for dessert. After dinner we put the Christmas lights on the bushes out in front of the house. It was a fairly nice day, so we wanted to get the lights up now instead of on a cold day.
Ed-your dinner looks so yummy.

Glucose and blood pressure were both a bit high this morning. I guess all that Thanksgiving food was a bit much. Thank goodness it's just once a year!

Our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren came for Thanksgiving (Jen, Steve, Will and Lilly). We had a short video call with our son and daughter-in-law with baby sounds in the background. 💗It was really nice. I made the turkey, salad, cranberry sauce, and sweet potatoes (and failed pumpkin cookies, which I threw out!)
They brought aperol spritzers, green bean casserole, biscuits, and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious, and it is always wonderful to spend time with family.💕
Every year, I've thought about making soup from the turkey bones, and this is the first year I've done it.
We'll probably visit Josh, Alyssa, and baby Madison today. I packed a few meals worth of Thanksgiving dinner up for them.
I have a massage scheduled for this a.m.
