    good morning
Jo, I hope your sinuses are feeling better. Good to take a day to relax. I'm making cardinal suncatchers in stained glass. I wanted to make them for Christmas gifts, but didn't have time, so I'm making them ahead for next year. ;)
Irene, good luck with your dental checkup.
Ed, I hope your joints are feeling better. Looks like you're expecting a lot of rain.
It's currently 61F,16C, with some rain, everything is wet, the snow is pretty much gone. Areas of fog early (dense fog advisory until 10 a.m.), then partly cloudy this afternoon. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 68F, 20C. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. This is not at all winter weather!
I have a massage scheduled for this morning. Looking forward to that.
Wishing all an easy Friday! ☕🌫️☔🦥

Howdy all y'all. It's fabulous Friday!

We have 14 (Celsius) misty degrees with an expected cloudy high of 20 and 37% chance of precipitation. I think mist counts as precipitation.

Plenty to keep me busy it looks like!

Howdy all y'all. It's satisfying Saturday!

We have 16 (Celsius) cloudy, rainy degrees with an expected high of 18 and 100% chance of precipitation.

I need to get to the grocery store(s) this weekend, and PetSmart, but that doesn't have to happen today. I'll see what tomorrow's forecast looks like and decide.

The cats let me sleep in until nearly 9:00 so I'm still sipping my tea. I made sure they got fed on time, even before I ate my cottage cheese and made my brown sugar cinnamon steel cut oatmeal.

Vix-Good luck catching up on your email.
    Hi Irene.
Currently 39F. The sun came out for a little while. Tomorrow we are back to rain and possibly snow.
I made chili today and corn muffins. I also read James Patterson's 23 1/2 lies.
    Have a great weekend! :)

Jo, chili and corn muffins, yum. I made lentil soup yesterday. We had sun for a little while too,
Irene, rainy here too. Enjoy your treadmill!
Ed, hope you got to sleep in again.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday!

We have 7 (Celsius) cloudy degrees (feels like 3) with an expected cloudy high of 7 and 10% chance of precipitation. I guess it's as warm as it is going to be today!

I did not get out in yesterday's damp, rainy mess to go shopping so need to do that today.

That will be around lunchtime I think when I do get out, and may pick up lunch if something grabs my eye.

The cats did let me sleep in until about 8:20 and then Dinah was insistent that I needed to get up. I had time for a light breakfast before it was cat feeding time at 9:30, and I'm still sipping my hot morning beverages.

    The dishwasher is running.

We have 3 (Celsius) partly cloudy degrees (feels like -1) with an expected partly cloudy high of 11 and 2% chance of precipitation.

Biscuits in the oven. I'm having fried bologna with the biscuits.

Nothing critical on the agenda, yet...

Ed, nice that you've been able to sleep later. It's nasty out when it's chilly and rainy, makes it seem colder, down to the bone. Biscuits sound good. Yum.
    Hi Jo and Irene.
The visit with family was nice yesterday. Maddie is 2 months old. She's now about the size Josh was when he was born. 🥰 She's also very sweet. I love the little baby sounds.💗
It's currently 38F, 3C. Cloudy skies this morning will become partly cloudy this afternoon. High 44F, 7C. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.
Our housecleaner is coming today, and I'll probably bake a new batch of cookies this afternoon.
Wishing all a bright shiny new week.☕⛅🌟🍪🥂

    Good afternoon
We had snow overnight that turned to rain. I had to clear off the cars and push some snow off the driveway.
Ed-I haven't had fried bologna since I was a little girl.
Vix-I am glad you had a nice visit with your family. Maddie will be crawling around before you know it.
What kind of cookies did you make?
Hi Irene, I hope you got to go out and walk today.
Currently 36F. We lost a couple of branches from one of our trees in the backyard.
    Enjoy your week! :)

Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday!

We have -1 (Celsius) clear degrees with an expected sunny high of 13 and 3% chance of precipitation.

It got cold again! Jason is in South Carolina on a business trip. He drove down yesterday evening. I made a nice chicken and corn bread dressing casserole for dinner. That will be lunch and dinner today as well.

Plenty of testing, and I need some discussion with the programmers about some of it as the tickets don't have a lot of information about the specifics.

Jo, no more snow here, just rain. I made almond flour chocolate chip cookies (gluten free, crispy, and delicious!)
    Hi Irene.
Ed, chicken and corn bread casserole sounds like a yummy southern comfort food. Looks like you have a busy day ahead.
I'll be off to my craft day in a little while. Going to try to get there a little earlier today. I've only been getting about an hour with stained glass.
    It's currently 35F, 2C. Generally cloudy. High 42F, 6C. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Wishing all a fine Tuesday. ☕☁️🧤👩‍🎨

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday!

We have 4 (Celsius) clear degrees (feels like 1) with an expected sunny high of 13 and 2% chance of precipitation.

I finished off the last of the chicken and dressing last night. I have a pound of ground round ready to go. I have to decide whether I want to make chili or spaghetti with it. I'm leaning toward spaghetti, but it's supposed to get cold again tonight so I may make chili. Either one should be a fine dinner, with leftovers for another meal or two at least.

    Hi Jo and Irene.
Ed, Pete made crockpot chili (ground turkey) last night. It was delicious.
It's currently 34F, 1C. Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High near 45F, 7C. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 40%. I haven't seen any snow, but it's gray and damp out. I saw the older boys walking to the school bus in shorts and hoodies.? Brrrrr.
I have a regular dental checkup scheduled for this morning, and acupuncture this afternoon.
I'm sure I can fill in the rest of the day.;)
    Wishing all a happy 🐫 day. ☕☁️❄️

    Good afternoon;
It seems like the time of year for chili. I didn't put any meat in mine.
Currently 31F and cloudy. We just have a light covering of snow on the lawn. The streets and driveways are clear.
Vix-Good luck with the dentist and acupuncture.
    Hi Ed and Irene.
I made a trip to the library after work. Nothing else new here.
    Have a good afternoon. :)

Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday!

We have -1 (Celsius) clear degrees with an expected mostly sunny high of 16 and 3% chance of precipitation.

I went with the spaghetti last night and ate too much of it, but have leftovers anyway so lunch and supper today should be covered.

Good luck with your tests, Irene! I hope all the results are good.
Ed, are your winters usually this chilly? Spaghetti sounds yum.
Jo, I like vegetarian chili too. Chili in any form is yummy comfort food! I'm glad your streets are clear.
The dentist was fine. I think I'll pick up some white strips before my next visit, and brighten up my teeth a bit and then have him repair some tiny chips to match my whiter teeth. ;) Acupuncture was good. It eased the pain in my leg a little.
I have my follow up B12 blood test today. 🧪 And I can fill the rest of the day as I please.
It's currently 35F, 2C, mostly sunny. A mix of clouds and sun expected for today. High 51F, 11C. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Wishing all a fine, fair Thursday. ☕⛅😎

The spaghetti was yum, and I'll be finishing that off at lunch today.

Our winters have usually been mild, though I do recall one with over a week of temperatures in the mid teens (Fahrenheit) that was unusual. The current winter has hit some lows I've never experienced here before, but only for a day or two when it happened so not as bad really. The wildly fluctuating temperatures are driving me nuts too! I don't mind reasonable cold, and actually like it when we get some cold days then. I am not really crazy about days that get so warm it doesn't feel like winter at all, when my mind (and body) are set for winter temperatures.

Jo, hope you like your new hair color and highlights! I'm letting my color grow out, so my hair is odd looking at the moment, the front being mostly gray. Due to the curliness, no line, but more like an underlayer of gray. I'm looking forward to a haircut when it's long enough.
Ed, it's been really warm here for winter. Highs in the 40s and 50s and even hitting the 60s(4-20C) now and then. Not like winter at all. We had one week of real winter. I don't mind the milder temperatures, but I worry about our planet. (I do kind of miss the cold, mostly coming in from it and warming up! But it somehow made me feel more alive.)
Irene, hope your tests went well.
It's currently 43F, 6C still kind of dark out. Overcast. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 47F, 8C. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph.
Wishing all an easy Friday and a happy weekend ahead! ☕☁️🍷💃🕺

    Good evening;
Currently 40F. We had a little drizzle this morning, but now just cloudy.
Vix-I am happy with my hair color and highlights. I only had her do a few highlights in the front. I thought about letting my
    hair grow out.
I love the change of the seasons, especially fall when the air is crisp. I don't even mind a bit of snow.
Today we went grocery shopping and browsed in an antique store a few towns over from us.
Have a great night and weekend. :)

I went shopping yesterday and bought some drawer organizers and a new rug for our morning room by the sliding glass door. Babysitting was fun last evening.
    It's currently 29F, -2C. Abundant sunshine. High 47F, 8C. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

I may go shopping today or may wait until tomorrow.

Our winter, aside from a few shockingly cold nights and days, has been too mild for my taste, and I'd really love a couple of weeks of cold (not bitterly cold) days and nights, you know, at least down close to freezing. Days of -1(Celsius) in the morning, with 20 (Celsius) in the afternoon are just weird, when they happen.

Sausage and biscuit for breakfast, with some fluffy scrambled eggs and a small bowl of cheese grits.
