Hi, today my daughter took me out to lunch for my birthday, we went to Cattlemens. I had a small steak, potatoes and salad bar, it was good, and I brought home what I couldn't finish. Then we went out shopping, I got 2 shirts and 2 shorts. We had a good day together. Hubby was home working on the car project. It is so windy here today, it's crazy, the gust seem really strong. I am going to take it easy the rest of the day. Janice0

This week was every emotional I started counseling with my ex. A lot of raw emotions were exposed. I feel like I just got myself back together today but I think this will be a good thing. I am feeling hopeful0 -
Morning,
Last night was a choir performance with young people showing their talents too. Some great talent
out there. I didn't realize how busy our choir director is with workshops, judications, and summer camps but these were her students entertaining us last night. We got up and did 3 songs. It was a nice
evening except when i got out to go home, a snow storm was facing all of us. A scary ride home,
I was following a car on the highway and he slid off the road in front of me. I kept on going but got
off at one of the exits and took the back roads home at least there was more lighting.
Now we are leaving shortly to see Isaac at his first birthday party. One year old today. I will be taking
my camera so I should have a picture to show you.

Marie-I hope you are doing okay, and recouping from your family get together.
Sunny-Sorry this has been a stressful time for you, glad to hear that,you are starting to feel like yourself again. I do remember feeling that way after my divorce, I'd like to think I became a better version of myself after it all. You can, too.
Shirley-Glad you made it home safe, I hate driving in snow or rain, even if I'm driving safe someone else isn't and I don't want to be in a wreck.I hope you have a fun time with Isaac on his birthday.
Nancy-How is your husband doing? Glad you got to get away recently and see your sister. I'm sure you needed a break after the past year. How is your son?
Steph-Are you still on vacation with your daughter? You and Shirley are the travelers of the misfits and going to alot of nice vacation spots.

hi all,
we are back from a busy spring break week and way too many mess out! i would always prefer to eat home, unless i am the crazy woman in the restaurant requesting everything steamed and dry, i seem to gain weight, lots of salt. right back at it. took a hot yoga class with my hubby this afternoon, really hard but really fun to do together. it felt really good just maybe a smidge too hot. Now to figure out dinner....tomorrow back to regular routine:)

@janiceclark08 Janice, My hubby is doing so much better since getting off the wound vac 2-3 weeks ago. The wound is about 95% healed.
Our son is doing well also, he has a bad scar but looks much better than I thought it would.

Marie-Glad you had a great time with your family
Nancy-That's great your husband's wound is almost healed, and that your son is doing good. Your sons scar will fade over time. I had a cyst removed in my neck/shoulder area in late 2007, that looked awful from staples, and it really isn't noticeable. Originally it looked like I had a bracelet there.
Stephanie-I know what you mean about eating out, I am afraid of gaining weight everything I go. The first year I was on mfp I only at out a couple of times. I usually try to look at menus before I go now. Glad you all made it home safe.

I was at Mr. Man's birthday party, little Isaac was one year old. I will share a picture, I hope its not too big I can't seem to control the size on here.
Isaac's other grandparents were in Hilton Head for the winter so they couldn't believe how Isaac has
changed even though they skyped alot. Just not the same as the real thing. He got lots of gifts
and even took an hour nap with all the company.
We got snow here too, not much in the driveway but lots of ice. Our cars were pretty covered with snow. We went for my birthday breakfast this morning and did get a walk in at the arena since we can't walk on the sidewalks around without falling and breaking something. I am older now after all.
We had no birthday plans today since we will be celebrating our anniversay on Wednesday (42 years)
and made plans with an overnight hotel stay, casino, and dinner at an up scale steak house restaurant, so we will celebrate then.
Thank you again, I love you guys and have enjoyed sharing your lives as well.

I had a good birthday, another year older but I don't feel it. Today was a brisk walk at the arena and
I am over my 10,000 steps so far.
Tomorrow Yoga class in the morning and then the anniversary celebration begins.0 -
please say a prayer for my friend Grand baby He is just a few months old and cancer is taken over is body/ She is asking for loads of prayers. So sad. The doctors have done all they could. It just break my heart

Morning, friends! Happy Wednesday!
Marie...so sad and I will keep the family in prayer.
Cold this morning, but the sun is going is shinning and I woke up this morning, so no complaints from me. I am back to the gym today. Knee/leg is feeling better..muscle cramping has pretty much stopped. I added 30 minutes of stretching in the morning and more sodium to my diet so I don't know which one helped. Today I will do the stretching DVD when I get back from the gym. Routine doc appointment for me tomorrow.
