Quick stop befor I head to Mom's to spend this gorgeous day with her. Edd will be over at some point to hand the new door decoration my DID's sister made for Mom. Moms so tickled with it.

Karla, i think you need to set a deadline and stick to it for Chris. He has already figured out that you won't really do it. So there is no incentive for him to go. You are not kicking him out, his lease is up. If he lived in an apartment and his lease was up he would have to move. If you want him to act like an adult he has to live by adult rules. Tough love is just that but it is much healthier for him than enabling him to be dependent on your generosity. Just some friendly advice from someone who has seen what can happen when you don't push them out.
Glad Glenn filled your pillbox. Sorry to hear about his worker.

    Gotta run,mthe day is wasting

    Good morning ladies!
Well, I returned the fitbit. I just didn't care for it and don't think it was tracking right. I ordered a Polar HRM instead, it is just a HRM, and I think that is exactly what I want and what will work for me.

Patti - That would be great if you could find a Salsa Rueda group near you; it is called by many names so things like "Cuban Salsa" "Salsa de Casino" or anything with those types of words in it are the same thing. I hope you do find a group....you will LOVE it

Myra - thanks for the encouragement. It sounds like a good time with your sister, workout...giggle....workout...giggle; fun times! At least with almond butter you were getting some nutritional value, right? You weren't eating empty calories, so that part is good. I'm glad the smiling is working

Janet - I only weigh myself at my parents' house. We had a scale for a while but the battery kept running out every couple of months and it just wasn't worth continually replacing it. I get obsessive about weighing when I own a scale anyway, so it is better to just do it when I go visit which generally turns out to be about once a month. I hope your plans are coming together well to visit your friend for your birthday!

Karla - thanks for the clarification. Well done in taking Chris in, sorry it has turned out to be so stressful for you. Congrats on the continued downward trend on the scale...you are burning it up! So sorry about Glenn's co-worker! That is just so strange.

Cindy - glad to hear you are feeling a little better. I think it is wise of you to lay low on the exercise for a bit; at least until it isn't so hard to breathe. I don't know who Micah is, but it sounds like a tough situation; hope it works out well for him. Take care of yourself

Today my younger daughter (mother to my grandchildren) will come over and help me review some Lindy-hop moves as I will be teaching that in one of my classes starting tomorrow. I don't ever do a lot of these dances unless I am teaching them so I have to refresh my memory each year. Lindy I learned only a couple steps in a one-time class then taught myself the rest (using videos) so I have to make sure I remember what I am teaching

Have a great day, do something nice for yourself today
    Grace and peace to you

    Good morning dear ladies,
Time to catch up with personals, as the two canine companions decided sunrise is the wake up time around here. Nice that the bonus was a gorgeous crimson skied sunrise to start the day off with another smile. See, Myra? We are all catching your smiling strategy!

Diane - With traveling time once more on your agenda, your program really has to adjust to the environment. Like you said, at least at the hotel, there is no late-nite kitchen temptation. Attending events or conferences often seems like such a setup for adding "empty calories". Well done on getting lunch, snacks and a nice workout into your workday. Did it help later? There is often high-sugar treats on offer when folks get together. Why is that, I wonder? Doesn't seem to matter if we are even hungry! I found myself taking a dark chocolate dipped cookie at our Bible Study group and it wasn't even that good! Recognizing triggers is a big first step and the next is when we walk away. It's so great that you found time in your busy day to be with your Mom on some shopping for quilting supplies. Encouraging no doubt for you, that she is motivated to get back to something she has enjoyed in the past. My mom made a quilt for our son when he was a little guy and he treasured that for many years. She loved her grand-babies so much! How is your Mom's eyesight to undertake all that stitching? Physical deterioration can sometimes be a reason that seniors back away from an activity they've enjoyed in the past.

Karla - Loud applause for the jeans that fit once again and the steady progress through 190's. Your enjoyment of those blossoms is highly contagious as we continue to prepare our garden. Herbs are beginning to peek out, raspberry and blueberry bushes are showing signs of life and the narcissus are blooming before the deer find them! That WAS a scary meds mixup for you! Thankfully Glenn was able to step in with a good solution. Wouldn't it be nice to be off meds? Our lives too include some medication in those little pill boxes, so your experience is a good reminder for us to be careful and accept help when we need it. Keep up that great attitude! While I cannot put myself in your shoes regarding Chris, I can definitely pray for your strength.

Cindy - Sounds like your health has taken a positive turn, which is SO good to hear! I've been pretty concerned about you, all things considered. Your compassionate heart really comes through as you share experiences from your life. There is such sadness every day in families. Brokenness seems to be the new "normal" and the traumatized need loving, positive support. Sometimes the professional life is an easier stress to handle than the personal life challenges. My prayer is that you will find the positive support you need to keep making healthy choices. Wouldn't it be great to be able to just reach out and give one another a real big hug every day? Finding that elusive calm center is certainly a quest I can relate to, so I'm ditching perfection.

Janet - You seem to be really finding your groove! Planning on spending time with such a good friend sounds like a wonderful idea and I truly hope that you can get together to enjoy it! When planning meals it can be a challenge to find something that bring enough veggies into play, but you are finding some inventive ways to do just that! Well done. We all need to fill our pantries and plates with produce and protein to get as much nutrition into the daily calories as we possibly can. It makes me hungry to write about it! What is your favorite "go to" dish these days? I'm always up for some new ideas with veggies especially. Thanks for your calm voice and upbeat attitude that reminds me to gratefully embrace each and every moment.

Patti - What a wonderful lunch you were able to spend with those great buddies of yours! Anytime we can enjoy the company of those we treasure is a special one. Finding ways to keep active can include moving furniture around... hmmm... wonder if our spring cleaning could include some of that too! We have too many big sofas and chairs as we moved into a house that was partially furnished, then picked up more before our stuff arrived much later. My little art studio hasn't seen much use in months and I might need to re-arrange it a bit too. Getting an appropriate "thank you gift" for your cousin is a challenge too, perhaps create it?

Bert - Great to get in 12K steps! You are really getting it done and your body thanks you too! Wonderful that the musical was such a hit, those productions take such dedication by so many folks and when they are done a big sigh of satisfaction along with smiling faces are treasures. Wondering how the 21 day fix containers are working for you? How and when do you measure the results from that experiment? I guess it is not much different than measuring cups, but more colorful reminders of what to include in a meal when we are getting our plates ready. Positive steps towards your goals are likely giving you the motivation and energy to keep it up!

Jeanette - Whenever I think of you, music and dancing springs to mind. So what are the plans for the Salsa Rueda in the community? Sounds like the extra movements you've been able to maintain are really making a difference in your life and energy levels, which is so delightful! Wonderful results come from that kind of determined effort and the slower the rate of loss the better in the long run! Just in finding the right balance, we are creating new lifestyle habits that energize and motivate us to keep stepping forward to the moments we are blessed with. How goes the school work this week? The balancing you do in your life always amazes me and I'm so grateful that you have the spiritual strength you need to face anything ahead.

Myra - What fun with your sister! Just reading about your time together makes me pine for time with mine. We always enjoyed one another's company and giggles were definitely a big part of that, too! Sometime ago she shut me out of her life and hasn't responded to my attempts to reconnect, so prayerfully hopeful here that one day she may open up and we can share such times once more. We now live much further apart, so it does make it a challenge. My brother and sister in law are traveling to our area in March and joining us for a lunch on the 21st. This is the only face-to-face contact with any of my family in a very long time, so I'm looking forward to catching up and just listening to what is happening in their lives.

When I begin commenting, I never plan to say quite this much, but there ya go! Have a Tuesday to remember all and know that you are being thought about throughout my day too.

Mary Lynn, never apologize for how much you write, I love reading whatever you have to say. You always make me feel like I could a better person just by following your lead. So grateful to have you with us. It made me sad to think of your estrangement from your sister. Praying the rift will heal sooner than later. I have a sister that I have no relationship with but there are many reasons why.

Jeanette, the Lindy, oh what fun your students will have. I think it is much healthier to only weigh once a month.

Cindy, slowly but surely you are recovering. Nice to hear your words helped Meg's stepson, I hope he finds a good friend or two. Being sent away and starting new is so very hard at any age.

Heard from my GF and she has to go for a wider excision because of ducal invasion. Surgeon said no need for mastectomy. Not sure what the follow up will be, if she will now have to have chemo in addition to the radiation. She is in a state of shock right now and my heart goes out to her. Asking you all to keep her in your prayers please. Her next surgery is set for March 17th. She is Scotch-Irish so,we are hoping this is the luckiest day for surgery. So not what we were expecting to hear!
Nice day with Mom, watched the final episode of Downton, so sad to see it go but liked the ending. Now we will be waiting for Nashville and Mr Selfridge to return.

Karla, forgot to congratulate you on another loss. So very happy for you.

Question -- Does anyone else have the issue I have with posts not showing up until after I have replied? This happens even when I back out of the thread to the list of threads for our group. It wasn't until AFTER I had posted this that several new-to-me posts showed up. Thank goodness one can edit one's posts after the fact so it doesn't look as if I haven't read or am ignoring anyone!

Karla -- Congrats on the loss. Flexeril? No wonder you were feeling wobbly! Hope you and Glenn can be firm with Chris, set a date and stick to it. You know it would be better for everyone and might shock him into action when he knows you mean it. He will grow up -- just a bit late, it seems. Please pay extra attention to things with your vision issues (I know I'm preaching to the choir). Especially driving.

Cindy, a change of scene and being the only child in the house may be transformational for Micah. Sounds like his situation was pretty intense in GA. Don't push yourself into a relapse, please.

Myra, what fun with your sister. It's just my brother and me so my good girlfriends are my sisters.

Diane, thought of you and Cindy and meetings watching the SNL sketch about the meeting caterer -- table piled high and deep with platters of many kunds of sandwiches -- bad nutritionpalooza. Hope your trip is good, though it can't top being on the submarine.

MaryLynn, isn't it amazing how well-trained our animals have us? Pet the pups for me.

Bert, I caved and got daily pill cases several years ago. Because I take my thyroid on its own in the wee hours, it gets its own container. You did the right thing -- missing a day isn't a big deal but double-dosing could be.

Jeanette, you seem to know every dance on the planet. What's your favorite?

Saw on FB that Judy made it through surgery very well and has a nerve block keeping her out of pain so far. Whew.

Tired here -- been busy all day and fielding many interruptions. Took me seven hours to watch "Bridge of Spies," which I liked. Organizer was here and we stayed busy. My cleaner comes Thursday and I have most of tomorrow to do stuff here that's been postponed.

As for my trip, there are things up in the air over there, and at my end, my best friend's father is dying and that will be my first priority. Sometimes plans depend on how puzzle pieces fall and this is that sort of situation. If I'm not there for my birthday, I'll get there in the next few weeks.

Have had very hungry day and am over but oh well -- didn't eat anything truly awful, just too much. Tomorrow I'll go for a high-protein, low-carb day (except for veggies and maybe one piece of fruit).

Janet- No, it happens to me too. It will say 3 new messages, and I look and it shows one, then I respond and when I reply it shows the other 2. Then I respond again. I didn't know you could edit your previous post though. Glenn and I talked yesterday and we decided to give Chris until the end of next month. That gives him six weeks to get himself prepared to do whatever he is going to do. This will give us a clear conscious, or me anyway, and my father. I just want it to be a clean transition. He has such a focus issue because he has no job or education to be focusing on. I don't know what he does all day!! I'm going to sit them both down in the next couple days and go over the plan. They dash out the door to avoid me most days. I have to meet with the new credentialing client this morning, do not sure I will catch them before I leave. If not today, then tomorrow or Friday morning for sure. I have a list of bullet topics to go over. It is more than fair. He could have done so much better. I am sure he will do better, at some point. Just not in my time frame.

    Questions:

1- When you get the answer from MFP "if all days are the same you will be ".." weight in five weeks..are you that weight in five weeks?

2- Can you get your strength training to show any earnings of calories burned? Mine isn't. I do 20 minutes for my dvd.

3- When you import a recipe in from an URL, how do you edit an ingredient?

I saw on Facebook that Judy is going home from the hospital today. Her block wore off about midnight and even with the percocet and morphine she was in some pain from the scraping. Poor thing. She said she can leave today after her therapy. She is 65 years old I believe, but in pretty good health. She has a wonderful family and a great church family too.

Patti- Thanks for the congrats on my continued weight loss. I can't wait to get back into the 180's. I am on my third month of continued eating properly and exercise. I can't believe I finally got it all going again. I know you struggle with so many activities and challenges there. I'm so sorry to hear of you YaYa's return for more wide excision and ductal involvment. Her physician sounds very and non-aggresive. I have two really good friends here that both had double mastectomies, chemotherapy and are both 10 years post and are doing fabulous, actually I have three friends in this boat. Continued prayers.

Cindy- The medicine induced cataract on my left eye continues to thicken. It is a thicker cataract than the old age cataract anyway. It is distorting my total vision. My glasses are so old that I can't see well with either of my glasses now. The pill bottle labels are so small and the generic names are so similar I misread them. I am also falling because I was looking down through my bifocals so I have to take my glasses off to walk now. Geez. I see the doctor up at UAB University next Friday. I hope to get good news.

Marylynn- Yes, it is a good feeling to try on clothes that you couldn't zip in the recent past. Scary, because you don't want to NOT be able to do it again though. LOL. I wore them with pride. I can feel myself shrinking and that is great. I am on a good spree here. Three months going straight and that is what it takes. Thank you for your support as I encourage and set my nephew free.

Myra- Sounds like you and your sister had some great giggling time. I have four brothers and no sisters. Was I spoiled? Don't you know it!! LOL. One of my BFF's here in town, Monica, and I giggle like teenagers all the time. We always have such a good time.

Bert- I will take a picture of my purse and post it for you later. It is a cloth purse with side pockets. Multicolored. Good size and great for traveling.

    I better get going.

    hi Ladies-
I walked for about 35 minutes yesterday it felt good but I was so tired last night went to bed at 9- just couldn't keep my eyes open. I have a friend stopping over today to put the bottom doors on the hutch my dad made for me years ago- not something Rick wants to tackle and Lee is retiring next month so need to make it happen- Dad just isn't able to do these things any more. it stinks are my parents are aging- but I know I am so blessed to still have them with me.
Janet- what will be will be If you're meant to travel next week you'll be on the road if not there will be another time to spend with the horses. I truly believe in fate. Hang in there today with low carb. You can do this.
Karla- so sorry about the eye- hopefully you'll get good news when you visit the doctor. I too had to be tough with Meg a few years ago and give her a deadline to move out of my house. She had boomaranged and it was SO hard. A couple of years ago she was talking and said how it was the best decision she had made- I laughed so hard I cried as it was a huge fight. When she realized what she had said she laughed too- and admitted I "pushed" my little bird from the nest. Be firm with Chris in the long run it will be the right thing to do.
Patti- Your ya ya is in my prayers. My GF had a double mastectomy 6 years ago and is totally clear today. She didn't have to do chemo or radiation but the decision she made was right for her. I know you will be a great supporter for your ya ya. Hugs to you both
Judy- I know she's not reading this but wanted to put it out- Feel better and follow doctor orders :)
MaryLynn- we love reading your posts- don't edit yourself...
Jeanette- I'm sure your grandbabies love doing the Lindy with you...
Bert- your doing great with your steps- keep moving- how is the scale doing?
Need to run but I'll see you all again soon.

Good Morning, Ladies. Today I'm having lunch with my Happy Retirees group. I haven't been able to go for several months. I'm excited to see them today. catch up, and laugh! They are such a fun group.

MaryLynn: The 21 Day Fix is going well for me... I have lost about 2.5 pounds. The containers are a colorful reminder of what to eat. It's mostly about clean eating. I do "fall of the program" at times (I have a horrible sweet tooth). My Garmin has helped also. I can see the number of steps I'm taking and what I need to do to reach my goal.

Janet: I tried to post things a few days ago and half of what I posted was deleted. It was on my phone though.

    Karla: To answer your questions.
    1. No, I never weigh what they say you'd weigh in 5 weeks. I'd have to eat that same menu for 5 weeks....
    2. I was thinking about that very same thing. They should give calories for strength training. My Garmin doesn't give me any calories either. It says 0 all the time, so that's why I enter my walking as an exercise.
    3. I entered the Chicken/Broccoli/Macaroni and Cheese recipe. I typed the whole thing with also how to prepare it. I think had to delete the preparation steps as it was trying to count that as calories. I just change the portion sizes when I log it as a meal.

So sorry about your cataracts.......can you get an earlier appointment? I'm looking for a small shoulder purse that I can put in a few things in and then wear it across my body. I'm trying to eliminate any more wear and tear on my neck and back.

Cindy: I've lost about 2.5-3 pounds from the 21 Day Fix, but have lost almost 10 since my surgery in January. I think some of that is from the medication I was taking (one side effect is weight gain) and now being able to be mobile again. I hadn't been able to move very well for months.

    Have a great day, everyone!

    Good morning!

Karla, you can edit your post for an hour after it goes up. In the upper right corner of your message you'll see a little gear icon -- if you mouse over it, message says "Edit" and tells you how many minutes you have.

So glad you've found your groove. I'm still struggling a bit but doing better than I was earlier in the year. VERY glad you and Glenn are going to sit down with Chris. Is his girlfriend staying there too? I ask because your post referred to "they." Fingers crosses for good news (early cataract removal) on Friday. Could you at least get an updated right lens -- or put bigger labels on Rx bottles? Mom used to put a single letter in Sharpie on the top of each bottle ("D" for dyazide, etc.)

Cindy, thanks for the encouragement -- much needed today. Your words have already made a difference in my day.I'm sure the walk felt good -- glad you obeyed your body with early bedtime. I'm HANGry today but haven't eaten yet (still trying to hold off most mornings). Am thawing some cooked shrimp for later (I get the bags or big ones at Target) and have stuffed mushrooms. With a nice salad, it will be a good, healthy dinner. And I have two spaghetti squashes to cook too.

Patti, sorry your YaYa has to havae another procedure. Better safe than sorry but it's just no fun for anyone, especially her. My very first mammogram found something suspiciouos and too large for needle aspiration so I had to have a surgical biopsy. It was benign -- a fibroadenoma the size of a golf ball, but what a scare, especially because I had to wait a month to get on the surgery schedule. I told almost no one except a few close girlfriends and my two best guy friends, one of whom took me to the hospital, waited, drove me home, bought me strawberries and picked up videos to watch. He stuck to me like glue for the first 24 hours after I got home and it only made me love him more. (This is the guy whose home and family are my Thanksgiving destination -- his parents raised three fine men and she told me she considered me the daughter she never had -- a high compliment from one of the most amazing women I've ever known.)

Bert, so glad you're having lunch with your fellow retirees -- friends always feed the spirit! Your success is admirable, given the surgery and recovery.

It's gorgeous here -- a bit of chill in the air didn't stop me from opening a lot of windows. Thinking I'll take my portable bluetooth speaker into the garage today and work on a few things out there -- supposed to get into the 70s -- about 25 degrees above typical temps for this date. In memory of the incredible George Martin, whose musicality and production chops changed the music world through the Beatles, the Fab Four will be on tap.

Have a great day, all. Back later -- hoping to be away from the computer most of the day.

Karla, I think that is a very good plan you have for Chris, be firm. I hope you load him up on chores for his remaining time. You should not have to lift a finger around your house until he gets a job.
    Questions:
    1. Nope, never have I reached those goal weights because I don't eat the same or exercise the same every day.
    2. I think the strength training is based on much heavier weights, more in the body building realm. My TRX is considered weight training but comes up under cardio. Might want to try putting it there.
    3. I think I imported one recipe but can't remember how I made it work for edits.

Janet, when I see that others are posting while I am, they will not show up until I refresh the page. So I usually enter, refresh and then edit my post. Enjoy your tribute to Geotge Martin as you work in your garage. I will keep my fingers crossed for your trip. I know you will make it there in the near future if not on your birthday.

Cindy, sounds like you pushed yourself, in a good way, yesterday. But obviously your body needed it's rest.

Bert, I know you will have a great time with your retiree group. Congrats on your losses with the 21 day fix and since surgery. You have really done very well.

Off to the grocery, then hairdressers and then Zumba. Edd and I are starting to plan for our trip to FL at the end of the month and another shorter trip to MS and AL in May. I think that will be the extent of our travels for this year. Do want to make a trip to visit our friends in Paduca, KY too. Just need to catch them at home, lol. Need to get a move on, back later as I have time

Good morning ladies! I hope you are enjoying some nicer weather whereever you are! We are having a very rainy day here.

Today I am off to teach swing and lindy to my classes. I love teaching these dances and the kids usually love learning them too  These will be their last dance styles to learn for the semester; it is always fun to end with an exciting dance. Some of my former students even started a swing club at the school!

Janet - I'm sorry to hear about your friends' dad and that your trip may be delayed. I think I understand a little what is going on there. Any way you end up celebrating I sure hope your birthday is a very happy day for you. I do know a few dance styles, sure wish I could make a job of learning then teaching even more! I am so thankful for the opportunities I've had thus far and am praying I get to continue to do what I am doing.

Karla - I hope the cataract gets taken care of soon; do you have to wait a while before you can get it taken care of?
    1. I don't finish my daily diary partly because of it saying you will weigh this or that. I know it is just words but it bothers me.
    2. I've never had strength training show up on cardio; I just enter it as another exercise
    3. For entering recipes there are usually the options to change the amount, change the ingredient or delete it.

Cindy - I didn't connect the name Micah with the young boy you told us about, sorry I missed that. I have been praying for him and his situation. The kids I teach are college kids, my grandbabies aren't quite old enough to do the dances I teach, though I hope to teach them as they get older

MaryLynn - We are trying to start a Salsa Rueda group that will meet every Thursday night. This week is our first meeting and we will try to get some feedback from the people who came. I'm really hoping it takes off! How is the foot doing? I noticed you are back out hiking and so I'm guessing it is feeling much better; so glad you found the taping technique to help you out!

Patti - So glad your GF doesn't need the mastectomy but sorry to hear they are feeling the need to do more than they originally thought. I will definitely be praying for her, her doctors and her very good friends who are staying beside her every step of the way!

Well, I have a few things to get to before Miss Alanna comes and before heading off to teach. I hope you all have a wonderful day
    Grace and peace to you

Jeanette, what a tribute to your teaching that a swing dance group formed on campus! One of my nieces was really into swing dancing during the big craze in the late '90s. I made a (happy) fool of myself trying to swing dance with some of her friends at her HS graduation party.

In need of a break from going through things in the garage. It has started to rain and is not nearly as warm as the forecast, but oh well. Keeping the windows open (my indoor cats love the enhanced surround sound!) and hoping for the best while I go to Target to pick up a few things, then back to it. I'm hurting but am being quite productive so I intend to take whatever I need to keep me going. Music helps too. Thinking about Jeanette's lindy and swing means I'm going to switch from Beatles to Brian Setzer when I get home -- my musical tastes are pretty much all-inclusive except for elevator music.

Fun thing -- my subdivision has a Facebook page and today one of my very near neighbors whom I "met" through the group stopped over so we could meet in person, and she introduced me to another neighbor who was out walking his dog.

Time to stop dawdling and get on with it. Later!!!!!

Bert, hope no infection. Unfair - you've been through enough! And your typo (thanks autocorrect!) made me laugh. You're proud of your earring! Not sure how the pie figures into the accessories equation though.

Well, the forecast high 70s and sunny turned into high 50s and rainy, but no wind. Going to pick up a few things at the cleaner and to get lottery, then home. My car will stay in the driveway because I've scattered things about the floor of the car side of the garage while working in there. It's too nippy to continue though, so will rev it back up tomorrow or whenever.

Janet- You are indeed on a roll with your home!! Ooh la la on meeting two neighbors and one being a MALE.. hmmmmm. A pal to go to movies or eating out maybe??

Bert- I got a chuckle too. You are a sweetheart.

I don't know if it is my vision, being off the Prednisolone, or the mixup in my meds, or what, but I am still feeling so whoozy these days. Ugghh. I met with the new credentialing client today and to my surprise it is two providers to credential and I walked away with a check for $850.00 to get started. Yippeee. Go me!

I am not sleeping well. I laid down when I got back from picking up Glenn's birthday present after my meeting, grocery shopping and slept for two hours. I am still sleepy.

I had the talk with Chris and Brittany. Yes, she has been staying here some too. She is such a sweet girl. She is registered and approved to start college in Mississippi in August. Chris is the big disappointment and doing nothing with his life. My worry is their age and the ability to obtain an apartment or dwelling with being underage You cannot sign a lease under the age of 21 in Mississippi and furthermore, with no active work history in Alabama. She has some friends they are planning on rooming with. When I came back from my errands they had completed their chores around the house and she was excited about an interview she had and was going to complete the online application at another store. I'm having chest pains I am so stressed about trying to guide these two young adults. Glenn has said that the end of April is the absolute deadline and he is DONE. Jason, my son, told me today that he has begged his wife to let them move in with him and she doesn't want to let them do it because all four of their kids will be living with them this summer and they don't want the crowd either, especially given the issues I have had with Chris. I can't say I blame her totally, but Chris is Jason's cousin. I am just praying that this will be the tough love that Chris needs to open his eyes, push himself to get a job. My worry, again, is that even if both of them work, they are still too young to sign a lease. I had not thought or known about that issue. Sorry about this continuing saga in my life. It sure wan't like this when I was out of HS. Or my son. Heaven knows that was a LONG time ago. I am so keyed up about all of this I can even relax.

I'm so glad I was proud of my earring! :) geez. Good ol autocorrect. Tonight's eating was not so good. I gave into dessert at the cast thank you dinner we served. Not too many healthy choices. Doctor says I have a sinus infection and gave me a z pack

Bert, glad you got the z-pack. Take it easy! Sinus infections can be a bear.

Karla, the man and his dog are very nice. But I don't think his wife would like it if he took me to dinner. And he's 80.

Be extra careful about your meds - the flexeril overdose may still be wearing off.

Moving to Jason's isn't a great solution - not fair to the little kids, nor to Jason & Angelique. And it could teach Chris the wrong lesson. Perhaps your brother can help them get a lease. Instead of an apartment, he might find someone with a room to let.

    Ate oddly today. Sigh.

Looks like I will be driving to SC on Sunday, arriving in the evening. Yay!!!

My house is a wreck but cleaner comes tomorrow and I am working on house and garage clutter. Will take time to make a packing list and assemble my several host gifts. I'll drive home Wednesday - doc appointment Thursday.

Hoping for decent sleep - must be up & at 'em early.

Good morning ladies and welcome to Thursday. Not much sleep for me last night either. Glenn realized this morning that neither of us remembered to give his allergy injections last evening. I will call the allergy nurse and see if doing them tonight means we change to Thursday nights now or go back to Wednesday nights next week. Geez.

Janet- Glad you trip to SC is coming to fruition. You will enjoy yourself. We have a rain storm coming in tomorrow. It may cancel Glenn's racing plans with his son for Saturday. Sunday is his birthday and I am making a Cheesecake for him in a spring -5 cake pan that I float in water for perfection. He just loves them and it take 4-5 hours to make this particular one. I put crunchy items in the crust to make it yummy too. Good thing I don't care for them. LOL.

    Have a great day!!

Oh, I got my 10k steps yesterday and did my 20 minutes strength training.
