Starting our 1,700 mile trek home! I realized on this vacation how much more comfortable I am in my body. What a relief! I’m grateful for the gift and miracle of abstinence.
I’m pledging my commitment to my recovery again today.

    Safe travels, Jill!

Hi Mary - very few are active here.
Good on you for a week of abstinence! There is great relief in abstinence.
I have 14 months of (imperfect) abstinence.
Look for another group/forum that is private, and also called Overeaters Anonymous for a more active group.
You can request to join our private group.
There are several of us who check in almost daily, and support each other in our ongoing recovery.
    Welcome!
    - Jill

Congratulations on 8 days! Thats’s recovery - one day at a time.
Keep checking about the private group; sometimes it takes some time. I will ask about who might be able to respond to your request.
I’m continuing my recovery. Grateful for an abstinent weekend.
Logging my food is one of my OA tools, for sure.

Wonderful! Abstinence is a precious gift.
    Hello!
I’m checking in at the end of an abstinent day. I had a lovely walk, and stayed away from trigger foods.
It is a relief to have the gift of abstinence and this program.
    Keep coming back!

    Oh, that is wonderful, Mary!
One day at a time, that’s how we string days together in recovery.
And to get through a wedding? That is awesome.
I’m traveling this weekend and am grateful for this program of recovery.

    Hello Everyone!
I’m grateful for the gift of abstinence - especially in stressful times.
I avoided my red light foods, and continued to stay mindful through logging. I’ve missed my regular check-ins, so here I am today. Thanks for holding the space.
My best to all of you in these holiday times!
