Thursday - today was supposed to be a low cal day, but I was super super super hungry in the afternoon so I ate a lot of food - totally on plan, keto food, but a lot of food...plus, I have parties to attend Sat and Mon which are both usually low cal days...I've decided to just change up the days instead...I'll do Fri and Sun low cal instead of Sat and Mon, and that should make everything easier in terms of food at the parties and then I won't feel so bad if I don't track on the high cal days.

Oh - and I didn't feel like doing Eccentric Upper (so many push-ups and my carpal tunnel is not happy with me this week) so I did half an hour on the elliptical instead, but I did workout and that's awesome!!!

Friday was good-ish...I was good all day, then I came home and had movie night with the kids which included a bunch of the breakfast corndogs and some whiskey. I also didn't work out. On the up side, since I was good during the day, the evening splurge only put me at maintenance, and I did extra walking since I didn't go out for lunch. Super on the plus side, I had a great evening cuddled on the couch with the teenagers and fun family memories are priceless!!!

Saturday was a lake day, so super fun and actually pretty active too with very little sitting except on the boat. However, it was also an all day drinking day and I was super hungry all day and had a giant breakfast before going...so I ended the day a good 500 cal above maintenance and no formal exercise.

Sunday was pretty good. I started Isometrix but immediately my back was in agony, I'm guessing from bouncing on the boat, so I opted for 20 min of yoga instead, then an hour in the garden before the rain hit - finally got the potatoes in a pot - and then half an hour of intervals on the elliptical. I didn't track food, but only ate breakfast and dinner and kept it keto, so definitely a good enough day on the food side.

Monday was good...started the day with a double cheeseburger (no bun) and then we went to vetrans hill to clean up grandad's grave...there were a lot of them so covered in grass clippings you couldn't even read them and it irritate me that they let them get so neglected when it seems like so little effort to bag the freaking clippings...grrr

Went home and didn't do Incinerator since I didn't think my wrists would handle all the push-ups, but I did do a full hour on the elliptical...30 min at weight loss...30 min at intervals...so fun!!!

Went to mom's and hung out with family the rest of the day, steaks on the grill plus caesar salad, plus lots of crown royal...I might attempt to key that and see where I end up. I actually only had 5 drinks, I did a good job staying hydrated with some seltzer water in between.

Tuesday was good-ish...maintenance on food, would have liked to see a deficit there...on the plus side, I started plyometrics and definitely found that I have a muscle pulled in my back, so no jumping for me, but I was almost 10 min in before it started to act up, and then I did a full 30 min on the elliptical, and I kept all my food keto even though I probably ate more than I should have...still the lack of energy thing, this is a problem, and my allergies are definitely acting up, so maybe that's all it is...ugh.

Wednesday was very good, stuffed to the gills and still deficit calories, did my walking and the elliptical...back is sore, but better...I'm going to stick to just that until the first when I start my june workouts and go totally beast!!!

Thursday was just totally blown out of the water...and not in a good way!!!

Did break walking but no lunch walking due to team lunch. I was good at the team lunch and only had one slice of pizza and one cookie.

Was hungry again around 3, so I had a pack of trail mix. Happy hour was the plan and I was driving, so figured a not empty stomach was a good idea.

Happy hour was a blast, I ended up not driving because my husband didn't like the beers he ordered, so I ended up drinking them, and we both ordered meals and split them, so I had half of the most amazing reuben I've ever had outside of NJ, and half of a good but not any better than five guys burger.

Ended the day with little activity and almost 1.5K calories over...sheesh...I need to not do that any more!

I was thinking about the June plan. Specifically, I was thinking about the likelihood that I would do a single workout 3x/week for a whole month without being bored out of my mind. I decided I would probably not adhere to that workout schedule, so I altered it to throw in other, different full body workouts instead, for some variety and hopefully to improve compliance. I feel like I'm constantly on the edge of falling off the workout wagon and I really need to climb back up and be totally solid in that arena.

I also decided to mark my PSMF days and to go ahead and key the whole month into my food diary so I wouldn't forget or lose track of them. Before I did 3 solid weeks of PSMF 4x/week and then I had a massive energy crash. So this time, I'm going to to 4x/week alternating with 2x/week...it will slow the weight loss, but it will also give my body a bit of a break. Plus, I have a lot of vacations in July, so I'm not going to worry about planning for any maintenance time because I will try to be maintenance on my vacations. I may go carnivore on vacation simply because it's easier for me to hit my protein/calorie goals with carnivore and they are all beach vacations and I love seafood, so that also lets me indulge in my favorite foods!!!

    Cheers to the new plan!!!

I should lose about 2 pounds for the moth of June, and assuming I can keep up with my workouts and such, that should be 2 pounds of fat which should bring me down about 1.3% body fat.

It's slow, but 3 lbs in one month sent me into an energy level tailspin...slow is better than feeling crappy, and sustainable is better than fast.

Got a talking to about my outfit today...we are "summer casual" this week and shorts are allowed, but not my shorts...having leggings under them doesn't count.

I'm so glad my life is full of fun and not so sad that I have to nitpick others via their management.

On the plus side, I have had lots of positive comments from lots of people who think my super hero outfits have been adorable and creative, so there are still some folks in the office that enjoy a little fun!

Friday was supposed to be a high calorie day, but I didn't have much appetite, so ended under, which is probably good because Saturday was a bit over...I could have had chips/dip OR tirimasu, but both was a bad idea...Lucifer's waterfall hit mid-Saturday, and so far <GROAN> it's a bad one...come to think of it, I was more over yesterday because I had 3 shots of whiskey before bed so I could sleep...which worked until about 4am when all the cramps kicked back in again...ugh...

Sunday was good, got up and did my strength training, booyah, then actually relaxed and had a cup of coffee before I had to start waking people up and going places...had a fun time hanging at the dog park with friends, and then hanging at a friend's house after the dedication was over...then went home and actually painted my ranger figure and kept my hands busy instead of munching, so I was pretty on target for the day...could have used more protein, but just wasn't in the mood for chicken.

Monday was great! Abs in the morning, walking at lunch/breaks, and eccentric lower in the evening...food was PSMF and I hit my goals right nicely!!! Today wasn't even a challenge, except the eccentric lower, that was hard because I was still sore from the workout yesterday.

I feel like all my motivation journal friends have abandoned me...it seems to happen from time to time.

Tuesday was pretty amazing...food was totally on target...walked and lifted the weights - Beast Total Body...my back is a bit unhappy with me in that one spot that was a problem last week, but I'm going to put some Tei-Fu lotion on it after my shower and hopefully that will help that muscle relax and recover.

Plus, tomorrow is a high food day and I've already planned my food...I'm getting ready to go cook my burgers for lunch tomorrow so that I will have time to do abs in the morning instead of cooking.

It's quiet around here and I'm like last gal standing or something.

I miss you guys, hope you come back!

Wednesday was ok...food was slightly over, but within parameters, protein was awesome...I do love my high calorie days, but I think all the extra food is part of the reason I feel a bit sluggish...I did my walking, and I pushed through the custom glute routine, and I kicked total *kitten* in the sense that I used good form and did all the reps with full range of motion and increased many of the weights over the last time I did it, however, I should be able to complete that routine in about 45 min, and instead it was like 1hr 15 min just because I was sluggish and kept taking long breaks and really had to force my way though it because I was just not energetic.

I did, however, get it done!

Thursday was a bit bonkers...I had to leave work early to take my daughter to ballet since the boys were visiting Bridgewater and meeting with the track coach...so, my planned dinner didn't happen and I was winging it with some sushi, and my planned lifting didn't happen either since I got home at almost 9pm...all in all, it was actually a WAY deficit day, the sushi was less than I estimated but I was totally full so somehow I was sure I was way over, and darling husband didn't cook anything, so there was certainly no temptation to eat more after getting home...in any case...one night of missing lifting won't be the end of the world, I suppose, but it would have been better if rehearsal hadn't run over and I could have lifted all the things!

Friday went pretty well...carbs were a little high, protein was a little low, but calories were good and it's just one day. I totally totally kicked major booty doing High & Tight, and I can tell it's been a while since I did that workout because it was soooo hard and I could feel the muscles struggling. But, done is done!!!

Saturday was a bit crazy...dropped the child at ballet, and then took the visiting child home, and then wandered around doing Pokemon - for those not in the know, today is community day - and making sure to fill up my bag with balls for later...then went grocery shopping...picked up the child...got a flat tire on the way home and successfully installed the spare...got in touch with the other child so I could get a car to go to town (don't trust the doughnut spare) and then walked around for community day...I got 3 shiny slackoth, plus one regular that was 98% and another that had a 15 attack...and I caught enough to get the best shiny plus the 2 with a great attack evolved and get the special attack.

Over 12K steps for the day, not bad for a silly game!

Food was ok, I was naughty and got an Elvis Monkey frappe...peanut butter banana mocha deliciousness...calories are ok, carbs are over and protein is too low...again today...two days in a row, not good...tomorrow protein will need to be a priority for sure!!!
