Monday - lifted all the weights, ate all the food...it was a solid day!!!1
-
Tuesday was good and weights were done.
Wednesday was a sick day and I slept alot but still did abs.0 -
Thursday I got my walking in, but then headed to the beach immediately after work, so no working out. I did plan my food and stick to it, so that's good.
Friday I didn't log because MFP wasn't working, but I had a light lunch and big dinner, so probably ok, though maybe over with beer. Scrubbed and painted both the front steps and the side steps. Went shopping for tractor parts with dad, and oh boy, the guys at the tractor shop were just all kinds of falling all over themselves to help us...I guess they don't get much pretty girl traffic in there...made me feel good, it was a nice ego boost.
Saturday was oyster fest...way too much beer...way too much food...lots of sitting around and talking all day...didn't eat breakfast or dinner, so pretty much all the food was consumed at the festival...at least that kind of limited the damage.
Sunday was a bit of yard work then travel back from the beach...I didn't log, but I'm pretty sure I didn't overeat either since I didn't have much appetite...I had a light lunch, and a light dinner, and one whiskey.0 -
Monday was kick *kitten* - weights done, grass seed down, walking done 13K+ steps...yowza...more days like this and those 3 lbs will go like a breeze!0
-
Tuesday was pretty awesome - walking 11K steps and weights done, even had to increase some of the weights PLUS I was able to do all the leg weights, though my foot/ankle is a bit achey today. Food was actually low despite being totally stuffed, but that's because steamed seafood is pretty low calorie.0
-
Wednesday was good - walking 14K steps, rest day so no workouts, was supposed to do abs, but didn't...had a great beer at steal the glass night and food was way under...rest days are interesting, I either have a never ending appetite, or none at all...I'll save the calories when it's a none at all day!0

Thursday was fracking brutal.
I was soooo hungry all day long...I just could not eat anything that would put off the hunger monster...I did split my lunch into 2 parts...and had tea between them...which seemed to help keep me from snacking like crazy...and then after I ate fruit I had major stomach issues so I don't think the mango agreed with me...but that at least put the appetite away because my stomach was hurting...so dinner was super late and after that I wasn't tempted to overeat at all...carbs were a bit high due to mashed potatoes, but at least they didn't make me ill.
Exercise was amazing...12K steps...plus I did my weights as scheduled and increased several of them...and I did an extra Harry Potter workout while watching the first movie, which was super fun...the workout part was a bit slow in the beginning, but it picked up after Harry actually got to the school.
It was a hard day, but still a productive one...though the scale is still being a giant witch and I'm not really losing any weight this month yet...<sigh>...however, I'm starting to have some ab definition, so I keep telling myself to stick with it and if you do the work the results will come!!!0 -

Friday was good...even did my glute work...food was solid...now I'm off to yoga and foam roll before bed!1
-
Saturday was busy and full of beer...Sunday was travel back and get the house in order...I didn't log either day, but I also didn't use not logging as an excuse to go crazy, so probably maintenance, but not likely over despite all the beer.
Now to get back on track, oh, and to get caught up on my cosplay, because it's definitely running way behind.
I did catch sight of myself in the hotel room...one of those, way across the room mirror things...and I was like "wow, I really do look fit"...of course, once you get closer all the chubby bits are more obvious, however, it still made me feel good to look awesome from across the room.0 -
Monday was good on food...no exercise except walking...was busy sewing and decorating for halloween...12K steps, so good on the walking and good on the food is just going to have to be good enough!0
-
Tuesday food was bad exercise was bad...I did work on my cosplay, but so into the chocolate today.0
-
Wed - food was mediocre, exercise was just walking 10K steps...pikapool ears are done minus some touch up glueing...tail is mostly done, just need to add more fabric to the base and sew the snaps to attach it to the dress...I also decided to put a nose and mouth on the dress, so it's not just 2 big eyes...I think it's cute, it has kind of a smirk...also I dyed the edges of the loops that will become the knife holsters...I will need to put on the dress and pin/sew those tonight.0
-
Thurs - food was good, exercise was just walking 14K steps...I was kind of hungry and wanting to snack before bed, but I managed to not do that...we visited a friend in the hospital, so no evening exercise and sadly no progress on the cosplay.0
-
Friday - pre-logged and mostly stuck to plan...I think I actually drank less than I planned, so that's never a bad thing...halloween party was a great success and lots of fun even if we were up until about 1:30am
Saturday - let's see...early morning, but then hit a train and a student drive, so the child missed pilates anyway...we detoured to Starbucks and hung out until time for ballet, so a bit more relaxing was not terrible...the rest of the day was just spent cleaning and such...didn't log food, but didn't go crazy, though I did have a few glasses of wine in the evening.
Sunday - did log food since I was hungrier than usual and I didn't want to go crazy...it was good!!!
I think I'm going to go carnivore this week...it's pms week and I typically retain a ton of water for pms week, and I have a con this weekend, so I'm going to experiment with carnivore and staying on top of my water intake to see if that helps with the water retention!1 -
Warning - RANT
This is sooooooo frustrating!!!!
I did the math and friday is the anticipated arrival of lucifers waterfall...so I can't get an accurate weight for the end of october and start of november...GAH
I climbed on the scale today, but was about 4 lbs up from the last time I got on the scale...egad
I look good, but I would like to look better
I'm going to GA for a week at the start of november which is going to impact my capacity for exercise
<sigh>
I'm also going to be staying with a friend who does not eat super healthy, and I don't want to splurge, I want to stay on target
hope the stupid app works so I can track my food while I'm gone...
In any case, Monday went well, food was on target, weights were done, walking was normal 10K steps, so that was awesome!

Yesterday was hard.
I did keep food on target, but it was so much effort. Carbs were a bit high because I got into the potato chips and had rice, but I can live with that...the rice was nice and filling and really hit the spot, and I did no snacking after dinner though there were so many cookies and candies and I was so super tempted.
I did some weights in between sewing and cooking, but not the full routine, just triceps and posterior chain.
I did get my 10K steps at least.
Today is supposed to be a high calorie day, but I would rather keep it as low as possible since I may or may not be able to track over the weekend and the next week. Plus, it's just PMS hunger, I didn't workout last night much, and I'm not working out tonight at all because I have errands to run and won't get home until like 9pm...so...this isn't fuel my body needs, this is PMS hormone rage hunger and I don't want to give in to it because it's not real.0 -
Wednesday was good, busy as expected, but good...food was under, not as under as I would have liked, but whatever...
I dropped 2 1/2 lbs overnight, so eating mostly carnivore and drinking lots of water is at least speeding up the loss of water retention...I still don't feel like I have hit an accurate weight, but at least I could get my rings on today - barely...
I'm also officially the proud owner of an artificial tree...we decided to go fake this year and get something pre-lit that wouldn't crap out if one light went out...shopped several places and ended up buying the one at Costco that I wanted in the first place...it's cute, has white or multi-color lights and multiple flashing patterns, and if one light goes out ONLY THE ONE LIGHT GOES OUT...which is my favorite part...it was heavy and bulky, but we will see how it does this year and if it looks as nice as the store one when set up by total amateurs.
Also, I was a raging hunger monster and had a latte to calm that down a bit...
No weight, 'cause busy running errands, but 14K steps...still didn't get to bed until 11 as it was...ugh...I need a week where I can really sleep!!!1 -
How have the past few days gone?0
-
Nekocon was AMAZING!!! So much fun, already planning next year.
The trip to GA was good...busy with lots of errands, but also lots of catching up and some super excellent food!!!
Time to get back on track.
Monday food was good - exercise was minimal, just waking 12K steps, running errands.
The plan for tonight is to do the workouts from mon and tues this evening...oh, and I already got up early today and did 15 min of combat, so that was cool!1 -
It's kind of amazing how easy it is to fall out of those workout habits.
I'm falling back into the food habit pretty easily, yesterday was good for food, and it was a low day, so two of those in a row is usually hard, but not this time.
Exercise, ugh, it was hard to get me started. But I did get started - bribed myself into doing weights by putting Indiana Jones the Last Crusade on the TV - that helped...I started abs, but immediately my back was agony, so I decided skipping that was better than being injured...but all the weights were done...booyah!!! I think the back thing is just getting back to sitting at a desk all the time, plus being stuck in meetings and not being able to get up and walk around as much as usual. I have been doing some extra stretches to ease that transition a bit.
7K steps, walking was a bit low due to meetings and being stuck walking inside because it was way too cold for walking outside in bare legs...I did finally remember to bring in leggings and leg warmers to work for lunch walks.
I cleaned the kitchen, which took forever, and went to bed...all in all a solid day, if a bit of a challenge.0 -
food was good...pretty on target...could have been less carby and more protein, but for a crazy busy ballet night I'm pleased...14K steps, lots of walking while running errands...no weights, but it's just not in the schedule when single mom mode is on.
plus side - my sweetheart is back home, so life can calm a bit and the exercise can get back on track0 -
Doing some math...
currently:
157 lbs * 18% body fat = 28.26 lbs fat
Goal for end of November, lose 2 lbs
26.26 lbs fat/155 lbs = 16.9% body fat
Goal for end of December, lose 3 more lbs
23.26 lbs fat / 152 lbs = 15.3% body fat
I could live with that...totally...that's a good plan...and it's going to be hard to lose around the holidays, but I have 100% faith in my desire to get to that fracking 15% by the end of the year...I've been *kitten* around 17-18% all 2019, time to break that trash up!!!0 -
You'd think it could at least use the proper conjugation of *kittening*0

Thursday was not ideal.
It could have been worse.
I did about 15 min of combat in the morning, so it was a good start.
I was ravenously hungry and over in food - but I did try to get quality food in and I didn't eat any candy or junk food, so even though calories were a bit over (400), at least it wasn't trash calories.
I did get my 10K steps...and I did some weights, but really half-heartedly and really not much. I didn't have a lot of time between chiro and dinner, plus I was getting a fire going, so weights were just not allocated much priority on the schedule. I was definitely not feeling it either, just not even remotely interested in it, which is odd for me.
I was also super tired, so I was in bed at 8:30 and asleep about 10 min later.
I'm not happy that food was over...I'm not happy that I didn't finish my weights...I am very happy to have gotten solid sleep, and I think that the crazy schedule and lack of sleep likely contributed to the hunger and lackluster workout performance, so REST needs to be a priority for me at all times.0 -
Friday - high calorie days are not usually a challenge, but this one was...kept calories in line, but played taxi for the ballerina so didn't get my weights done...I did, however, have a plain coffee and not a latte at Starbucks, so that's a win!!!1
-
Saturday was good - I preplanned all my food and drinks for girl's night, and I stuck to the plan, which was super cool, plus I got my workout in before I went out - win win kind of day.
Sunday was a challenge...we did pizza and I didn't prelog anything, and then I had a few beers, so I think I'm mostly ok in the calorie department, but I really could have been better...oh, I did ice skate for just over an hour, plus I did my weights, but it was a challenge and I really had to push, I didn't want to do them...ugh...I feel like it was a barely hanging on day and I need to get more on track.
The big focus for the coming week - do all the workouts, all the cardio and all the weights. I should be back on track in the schedule arena, so no excuses, just get it done!0 -
Monday was really good...food was on target, carbs a bit high, but protein was good and overall calories were good...I did my 10K steps, plus upper weights, plus glutes, so all the workouts...all the workouts...
I did change my workouts around because I was clearly bored of the weights and that was impacting my motivation, and so far that seems like a good call because now I'm better about stuff...still no idea what I'm going to do for next month...<sigh>1 -
I did good Tuesday...12K steps...lower weights, I did skip abs, but to be fair I got home from work super late and workout out AFTER dinner is always a challenge to my belly, so skipping abs was actually a good idea given the life scenario...food was also on target...and actually less of a challenge, I was hungry most of the day, but not starving.
And then I got on the scale this morning...up 0.7 lbs from a week ago...that brat, she's a witch, I hate her...took a good look in the mirror, my love handles look slimmer than the beginning of the month, and my belly looks good, not abs showing through or anything, but flatter like a less risen doughnut around my belly button...so, I think it's likely water retention, but I'll keep trying to remember to get on the scale and track anyway...and I'll stick to the plan, and maybe try to keep calories a couple hundred under most days.
The December plan is written, only 2 up calorie days per week...I'm pretty sure there will be some over days with work and family food based celebrations, so I'm just trying to bank up some extra calories for those in advance...and I will absolutely stay on top of tracking as much as possible!0 -
Wednesday...ate all the food...did all the workouts...swapped my upper weights for EDT (Escalating Density Training) bicep/tricep and chest/back...I only feel a little sore today from that, so we will see how tomorrow feels...also did glutes, and those are VERY sore today, but they've been hammered pretty hard this week, so that's a good thing!!! Only about 9K steps since I missed my afternoon walk, just got busy with work...all in all a solid day AND YET THE STUPID SCALE IS UP EVEN MORE...what a brat.0
