@hawkins410- can you post links to either YouTube videos or darebee workouts that show the way to do the exercises in this weeks rockettes challenge? I'm unfamiliar with some of them and want to make certain I'm doing the correct exercise. Thanks!0

“SIX WAYS TO TRAIN LIKE A ROCKETTE”
Each stretching position must be done at least three times. Any actual dancing is optional and on your own!0 -
@MissionEnforcer @hawkins410 any luck on joining a new team?1

Erm, how big of a room do we need to do the exercises in for the Rockettes challenge? It just says go "across the room" with no definition of the size of the room you are 'going across'. Or maybe it would be better to just say, do x number of each per set to ensure we're all doing the same amount of exercise?0

In the week 6 thread it sounds like we need to do 3 sets of the Rockettes exercises... but when you say each stretch needs to be done 3 times, it sounds like it's one set of three stretches for each of the 6. If it's 3 sets, we just need to know if there is a specific number per set since in the link it just says 'across the room', and if it is actually supposed to be one set of 3 per stretch, then we just need that clarified. Thanks!0

Ah, you know me too well...I was contemplating bathroom exercises...
Thanks, that helps a bunch. I personally may try to do at least one or two sets in my gym's exercise room, if it is free when I go. Will do the first set at home, down the hallways, so I can get them figured out before trying in public.3 -
@hawkins410 I just wanted to say I love challenge three this week. It is so wonderful to see what everyone is grateful for.3

I will be excited to do this again in Feb. All we have to do is maintain the healthy habits we have been doing over the last couple of months and we should be able to start strong and end stronger.4

Me too!! I know this takes a ton of work, and you have to put up with PiTA people like me asking bunches of questions, but I've totally enjoyed the challenge and appreciate all that you've done to make this happen!! Hope you will do another!!4 -
I know this isn't a question but I just wanted to tell you @MissionEnforcer and @hawkins410 what a fantastic job you have done and it's so appreciated. I have not enjoyed any other challenge as much this this. Each destination has been amazing and has even moved me to tears to think just how beautiful our world is -your information. videos and pictures captured such beauty. I'm really sad that this week brings us to the end of our journey and will certainly looking out if and when you start another.
Thank you once again and sending lots of Christmas cheer and at this festive time. P.S. I so have to visit these places for real !!13 -

Oh that stinks that there will not be one starting in January but I totally appreciate all @hawkins410 and @MissionEnforcer do to put these together. Really fun and we'll organized....thanks for all you do.5 -
@hawkins410 and @MissionEnforcer This might be a dumb question, but instead of picking one of the weeks and doing the challenges, can we mix and match challenges from different weeks? For example, doing sumo squats (Japan) and/or the 4 mile hike (Hawaii) and/or the stairs (Transylvania/Peru) and skip all those dance videos? I've got no rhythm. I'm cool with it either way, just wondering...1

Sorry about the "annoying dance videos" comment. Sometimes I just blurt stuff out jokingly without thinking. I just completely suck at them. Like hardcore bad. They have been the biggest challenge of this trip for me. I literally would rather do all the squats, stairs, etc. 5 times, than have to dance! I know lots of others love the dance videos, though!
Thanks for answering so quickly!1 -

Sometime stupid dances let you think outside of the box on working out. I will be first to say I didn't like some of the dancing but I started looking at other youtubes. There sure a lot of different workouts on youtube. Also the dances made us think of smaller goals 3 shorter dances added up to 25 min of a workout and you don't always have to do a 5-10 mile run. I am more excited about standup abs than the morning dance from Japan2

I LOVE the dance videos - it's great to just let yourself go in the privacy of your lounge, I shall do several of them for this week's challenge! For me it's the 'strength' workouts I hate - doing squats, crunches and arm exercises are so boring to me. I think it's great that we all have different preferences - would be terrible if we all liked the same things, and I think the Amazing Race-Fall Fun had a good mix to suit everyone.3
