@hmikkola92 - The reason you think you look wider is that the original picture is slightly resized...by looking at the background, you can tell that they aren't quite in the same scale... Try putting them close enough together to match the sizes of your facial distance. The distance between eyes and the T that is made with the nose, that difference doesn't change with weight loss.
But know this - you're slimmer in your face, your arms, your chest, even your waist. The colors of clothing affect things too. The clarity in your skin difference there is amazing. Don't get up in the cycle of being super critical of yourself. You're doing wonderfully!!3 -
Hi everyone! I thought I'd check in. My last post was September 5th.. I cropped my most recent progress picture with the last progress picture I posted. Left is most recent. Middle is September and far right was the beginning of my competition prep. So what's different? My mentality. Since my last post, I haven't eaten off plan, I've tracked my sodium diligently, drank my gallon of water, and got my workouts in. I haven't missed a workout or gone off track. I'm putting in the work every. Damn. Day. You won't progress unless you push yourself.
Thank you @KnitOrMiss for being so supportive. You are an amazing spirit... thank you for always motivating everyone here and having the right words to say.
This last picture was last night. I had every reason in the book to not workout... BUT I DID IT. It was leg day and while resting I saw my arms. Progress when you least expect it.

Not really a fair comparison, sitting vs standing, but I didn't do a lot of standing prior to 2016, and have very few photos of myself.
About 45 pounds to go, to hit my goal.
Absolutely awesome!! You don't even look like the same person. You look so much healthier now. Just wow!!!!3 -

Look how well-purportioned your body looks now, very fit and younger looking too. There are so many times we have every reason not to workout, but the perseverance pays off in the long run as we can all see in your last pic. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us.3 -
@Steph_Maks You ARE amazing!! Great job sticking to it and getting this far!!!1

Okay, here's some from my photo files: I am 53, 5'8" and fairly fine boned.
Chunky Zumba in Costume at my heaviest around 168 lb. I cropped out my pals as I did not get permission to share
80's Filmfest in Costume (and I still love shoulderpads, lol) 30 lbs down
History of Rock in Costume (hubby is obviously late 60's lol, I am punk 70's) 6 more pounds down - at goal 132 you can really see the difference in the upper thighs.

I hate to say it, but the hair suits your hubby.
And you look terrific!!1 -

These are so cute.
I personally am still waiting for shoulder pads to come back in style. I have tiny shoulders, so I loved being able to get them in my clothes. I know you can add in some, but they never look the same as when the clothes were made with them in place.0 -
Hi everyone! Another 3 weeks down, looks like I’ll be ready for my January show (hopefully!) *crosses fingers* pictures are one month apart. And only 2 pounds difference each picture. Don’t rely on just the scale for progress! Take pictures!

Excellent @LolaDeeDaisy23. You've worked hard and it shows!!1

I've been doing Men's Health Awareness for Movember for a few years. Here is the difference from 2014 to 2017. Down about 50 lbs from my highest weight.

This weightloss thing is weird. I feel like I had a woosh moment this week...enough so, that I wanted to take pictures to be sure. I was only planning on taking pics every 2 months. The first pic in each slide is 236, the second is 216, and the third is 211...this is the first time that I can notice it in myself, especially in my back. This is starting to feel like a science project...in a cool way
I also just now noticed that I never seem to actually put toilet paper on the holder...good thing I live alone.
All I can say is, "WOW"!5 -
From 280-170 in these pics! You can do it! I did this from eating Lchf and being in the gym! I’ve battled cancer years ago and won, marriage divorce n remarriage, battled PCOS and against getting stuff that runs in my family! God healed me from PCOS this last year-no cysts, no scar tissue, and a reg size cervix now! I also at 36 this year f inally even got pregnant even though I didn’t think I could-another miracle! We did lose the baby this year, and I torn my right leg hamstrings pretty bad, putting me out for months and gained some weight back, but I recommitted to eating right and being back in the gym! If I can do it Ladies n gents you sure can! Feel free to add me on here-Bless ya’ll! Ps-my skin sagged but as u encorporate weights into your regimen it helps n it burns more calories too! I also this time added in some swim aerobics classes too for fun!

Woohoo! You Go Miss Twinklestarr. Way to overcome so much and still look forward.
BTW, if you're not watching Hawkeyes are up by 14 at the half.2 -
How do I post a picture?0
-
From your computer file, I take it?
Click on the black page with the corner turned over. That will post a pic as a sub-post link for people to click on.
Otherwise, click on the landscape image, and load an image from a file, that will broadcast your photo as part of your post.1 -

50 lbs.....30 more to go....30 -
Way to go, everyone! It's so helpful and inspiring to see real people! It's always so demotivating to see weight loss ads that start with skinny and go to super skinny. I'm so out of that realm! But seeing what 10 or 20 pound loss on a body like mine looks like, and how it does make a difference to lose even that much, motivates me! So brave, too, of you all to share!4

Everyone is getting good results, well done all of you. Your hard work is showing.0
