I'm no psychic, but I'm seeing 182 in your near future, Steph!0
-
You can do it!!!0

Congrats!0

Day 2 check in - 185.6
3.2 more pounds down!
We're right on pace! If we can pull out another 3.2 tomorrow we'll be in the 182 range which would make me really happpppyyyyy 36 more hours, with 24 more before final week's weigh in Happy Hump Day M'beauties!0 -
You're doing so great!1

Thank youuuu! If I can get in the 182's this week, I have hopes to get under 180 by the 8th and actually have a SHOT at hitting 175 in March :-D0 -
You are doing great! I am sure you will be at 182 this week. Me, not sure about 184 on Friday. I was still at 186 this morning, not the official weigh day but just the check in day. I am hoping the 186 is due to the piece of pizza and greek salad I had for dinner last night, and it is only sodium. If not, and Friday comes higher than 184 I will be one sad girl !!!!

Don't let it discourage you - it tends to go in cycles for me...the last 2 weeks combined have only been 1.8 pounds total BUT if I hit goal this week, it'd be 3 pounds in 1 week. ALSO maybe try throwing in a 48 hour fast (ie skip eating on Thursday) if you want to and feel up to it. It's a nice flush and a good way to dip your toe in the water of extended fasting
Otherwise, you can always push lotsa water (which we should all do anyway LOL) and flush that salt right out! I CERTAINLY think you can hit 184 by Friday and I'm rooting for you!

Thanks I am trying not to get discouraged, I know how things fluctuate. And I have never felt better and it is so crazy easy to do! So I know I won't give up, but I also have to realize I might not hit my goals each week. If only I weren't so competitive even with myself LOL!!!
I may try that fast all day on Thursday though just for a push!!
You are killin' it!0 -

Thanks darlin'!
I'm super competitive with myself too! AND I'm crazy impatient LOL If you decide to do the fast let us know how it went (struggles, thoughts, how you felt etc.)0 -
Congrats, Steph! *waves pom poms* You're losing like a champ! I still am seeing that 182 for this week....0

*cheers* thank ya! PRAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYING for 182...I can handle 5 pounds in 3 weeks1 -
Your swings are crazy! And its super neat that you have them nailed down. I always flip if I see more than a 1lb swing! Watch out 182 Steph is coming for you!1
-
LOL yes I'm just used to them by now
SENDING ALL THE VIBES into the universe for weigh-in tomorrow LOL0 -
Being on that long of a fast is also depleting glycogen which takes about 4-5 times as much water as the glycogen itself to store the glycogen. Good luck.0

Well guys, no 182 *sigh* but we DID make it down to 184, so another pound this week.
I'm seeing a pattern of not losing much after day 3 so I think this week, I might play with just a 2 day fast, but being more careful about my cals on my eating days.
I'm traveling next week so probably will just try to keep overall consumption low to maintain...might actually be a nice change of pace to shake things up. Still going to shoot for 175 by the end of March which I really do think is doable...gotta reign in the cals, be better about water on the regular, and stay the course Happy March everyone!0 -
One pound is great! That new plan sounds better and maybe you could try not having your water fast days back to back and instead have an OMAD in between...Good luck with however you do it0

Yeah I think we're going to change it up a bit...I like the fasting days back to back for consistency of weighing in but perhaps I just reign in the cals, and reduce it to 2 days *nods*
Or MAYBE 3 days but a mini fast on day 2? I think I'll spend March playing with it since my schedule is already different from traveling
I'm trying not to rush it and just take it week to week but I'm a numbers person so it's hard LOL - bright side, I definitely feel like I LOOK slimmer, which is what I really care about lmao1 -
Hey, 184 is still worth celebrating! I'm sending you e-hugs. I like the sound of your new plan; it's quite inspirational how you and so many others here are willing to tinker with things until they're working quite how you need them to be. I'm nervous about my weigh-in this evening, but I want to keep telling myself that it's fine, and it's really all just one big journey towards the ultimate goal of better health.0

I am sure you can still hit the 175 by the end of the month, no prob I bet. I am happy for your 184 that is still super great! One pound one day one meal at a time - you got this!
Hopefully shaking things up will give you a boost though!
Keep it up!!

A pound loss is nothing to scoff at! You are having movement! This coming from a person who has lost less than 2lbs a month since November. Maybe changing things up might work!
Have fun traveling! Where are you going?0 -
Thanks guysssssss!!! I'll take it for now And Donna, yes I think 175 is still doable...it's a little more than 2 pounds a week which I should have no problem hitting
I'm traveling down to Fort Launderdale, FL for work I'll be there Tuesday-Friday, so RIGHT in the middle of when I'd normally fast - I'll probably fast Monday just to make up for the amount of food that'll probs be consumed while I'm down there LOL0 -
I agree, 1 pound is still pretty awesome. And depending on where you are in your cycle, you could be retaining water because of that, too. I know my weight usually goes way up when I have my period, and then whooshes back down when it's over.
Enjoy traveling! It's good to mix things up, so definitely make sure you enjoy Florida while you're down there.0 -

Yup, I'm on the BC where you only have 4 periods a year and mine finished about 2 weeks ago so not that :P But mine does the same sometimes Nature of the beast, if you will1 -
REFEED!!!
SO as I stated elsewhere in the forum, I'm going to try really hard to find a balance between counting cals on my OMAD days and eating whatever I want. Sammy calls it "mindful eating" or something like that and I enjoy that idea. I think it'll help get my losses back on track too
Since next week is travel, no weigh in so the next weight check in is the 15th - per Donna, our goal is 180 by then0 -
Food looks delicious and yes ma'am we are both going to hit the 180 on the 15th stay tuned!!!

You Girls have got it!
And Pizza it is! That is what I will be having for dinner tonight! Yum.0 -
I LOVE me some pizza - I always get it with double cheese, and I only eat the part that involves said cheese, much to several of our OMAD comrad's chagrin LOL - was still probably wayyyy too much food but it was yummy and I feel ready for some lower cal days in preparation for travelingggg0

Note to self "Don't look at food porn while fasting"0
