I just read the last week's worth of posts on here to catch up. I'm so relieved that weight came off after you were frustrated during those few days. Your salads look absolutely delicious. I am also curious...are you counting calories?

@ArizonaToast I do input my foods into MFP on most days. My fitbit gives me how many calories I can eat based on how many calories I have burned so I try to stay at or under that number of calories. I would say for the most part, I eat what I want but I am trying to incorporate more vegetables and less carbs. Some days I do well and others, I give in to the carbs. Yesterday was one of those days, I will post yesterday's meal later on today.

@tlbanksfit I just got myself one of this fitbit plan to walk and check out heart rate and calories... it hasnt arrived can´t wait ...
I recon we oscilate with the carbs, its cyclical...and maybe its natural?... if we tune into what we feel like eating we can choose the healthier variant of that "desire" ...

I love my Fitbit. I strive to get the minimum 10,000 steps each day and 30 active minutes.

Here is last night's meal. I still need to post Sunday's meal. This meal and Sunday's meal were high carb and I have been adding smoothies in the day as I am trying to get in more vegetables, but I think I will just have one smoothie with my OMAD meal and just stick with the one meal because I have added back the 3 pounds that I just loss and am back up to 163.2.

    Chipotle Burrito

My lab work came back. My cholesterol numbers went down, but my total cholesterol and LDL are still in the high range. I am sure it will continue to go down and reach normal levels. I did not want my HDL levels to go down but they also went down but are still at a good level. I prefer the higher numbers when it comes to the HDL.

Wonderful news about your cholesterol lowering, even if you still have a way to go, it shows you're heading in a wonderful direction! I am so glad I'm eating soon because after seeing your food, I'm starving. Lol

You'll drop the bit of weight you gained soon enough. You know by now it's almost assuredly water retention--especially if you ate out. :)

Yup - you'll lose it for sure. Eating out is pretty evil - I dread to think how much salt is in the food... So yummy though! :)

I have been researching cholesterol since my numbers have been up and came across this video by Dr. Berg that eased my mind greatly in regards to my cholesterol. My HDL is 66 and my triglycerides are 68 so I am pretty confident that I have nothing to worry about.

Turmeric cabbage - I MUST try that. I love turmeric rice, but never thought about cabbage - so healthy compared to rice...

They were really delicious. That was my first time making them that way and my husband had two servings. I would say they were a hit. I have some left so they will be part of my meal tonight

I have been off on my OMAD this last week. Ever since looking at Dr. Berg videos, I have been trying to eat more vegetables and started having shakes outside of my OMAD meal. My weight went back up and is now stalling at 163. I had my shake this morning around 7:20 and I added some MCT oil and was hungry around 12:30. I went to the dining facility at work and got a salad. The thing with the shake is because I use wheatgrass juice powder you have to drink it on an empty stomach. I was doing the wheatgrass shake in the morning and having the kale shake with my meal.

I don't know maybe I am not reigning it in because I will be going on vacation on Sunday for a week and feel I will be off plan then so what is the point. I have not been eating bad, I have just not been eating OMAD.

I do plan on getting back to strict OMAD when I get back from vacation because I enjoy not feeling hungry during the day and having my one meal. I still want to do the shakes, I guess I will have to stick to drinking them 20 minutes before I eat and just do one shake a day instead of the two.

Putting it out there for accountability and support.

Tracey, you have to do what is best for you, lady! You have our support, regardless. Sometimes things change in our lives and in our bodies and our medical situations and it just is what it is. I haven't been straight OMAD either, but intermittent fasting is my life, it comes as natural to me as breathing and I love it. Today was an OMAD day for me and I was able to get in 4 servings of fruit and 4 servings of vegetables so that's a start for me to being able to squeeze in more in one sitting. :-)

I know I can get in what I need doing OMAD, I just need to think it through, get it down and run with it. Doing things without thought just to be doing them is not the way to go. I will think it through while I am on vacation and have my stick to plan ready to put into action after vacation.

I will be still posting while I am on vacation. I will try to take pictures of what I am eating to share with you all. Having to share what I am eating will make me think more about what I choose to eat. I really want to succeed and know that even though OMAD is best, I can make good choices eating 2MAD or 3MAD and not sabotage the progress I have made.
