So yesterday I caved and ended up eating more Chinese food with the hubby instead of doing a water fast. We were "getting it out of our system" as a last meat meal before starting our meatless month today.

This morning's weigh in registered 169.8 :s:'( but I know it is not all fat and will come off with consistency which I have been lacking of late. My August meals will mostly consist of salad and vegetables along with my wheatgrass juice and Chocolate Kale Shake. Also in the rotation will be a veggie egg scramble or omelet.

I made some of the caramelized sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts yesterday so I will be having that tonight with a salad and Chocolate Kale Shake.

I completed my spreadsheet and am wanting to kick myself in the behind :s:s . I gained 6.4 pounds in July. My vacation week really did me in. But to put things in perspective, that was indeed a bad week and it is behind me and there are many more weeks ahead that will be good weeks with good losses. I am looking forward to August being a month of consistent OMADing, sticking to my Lacto-Ovo vegetarian meals and losing the pounds I gained in July and then some.

Don't be sad Tracey you will be back on track in August. The 6 lbs gain is reversible. Be glad that You had an awesome holiday  I am also on vacation for 9 days starting 12th this month and I was initially scared of it. Now I feel I will enjoy my holiday and be back and reverse all the gain. Only coz OMAD is a lifestyle we have in our daily lives. Its not a diet that we need to follow. We just live OMAD :) So now I know I don't need to be scared of whatever gain I may have.

You are so right Niha, I am not upset about the gain because now that I am back to my usual I know it will come off. It was just tough looking at a number again that I had already conquered. I will conquer it again and leave it far behind. Enjoy your holiday.

It looks like I may be going it (Meatless August) alone. My husband has talked about bowing out already. He says he needs meat on his salad. I told him since it is the first day, he can back out and I won't bother him about it. I have this habit of sabotaging myself with the things my husband is indulging in. This may be a blessing in disguise because he can back out and I can stick with it which may help me to say no to his temptations.

I was looking at my spreadsheet and noticed I had the days wrong and in fixing that I took note of the fact that I am on day 81 of OMAD and I have only lost 4.4 pounds. I will hit day 100 on the 20th of August.

I don't know what to say, I feel somewhat defeated right now and it is nobody's fault but my own. I should be farther along in my weight loss but somehow I managed to mess things up for myself AGAIN. I feel like I make little compromises here and there and they add up to big gains.

Tracey, this must STOP. OMAD is not hard and it is the perfect WOE for you, You just need to resist the temptations and stick with the program. A new month is here and great losses are to be had. You can do this.

That is me to a T... I didn't do Dry July (no alcohol in July) because my partner backed out at the last minute... He is also the one who "is starving and has to stop for chips or fast food or whatever" when we are driving somewhere. He weighed himself today and his BMI is 30.2 - don't think he was expecting that! I think he thought that because he walks once a day with me now, the weight would just drop off him...

Keep in mind that the majority of the weight you gained on holiday will be water weight and will come off quickly...

    You can TOTALLY do this!

Tracey, you turn that frown upside down, that's an order! Sarah is right, sweetie, most of the six will be gone soon. You're back to doing your thing, you've made yourself some goals, and you've totally got this! Nice spreadsheet, by the way :)

Thanks @minigrrl and @wsandy8512. I am done with my pity party and am determined to get back on track. I stuck to OMAD today and found it easy to get back to after being on vacation and eating multiple meals a day. Here is a picture of my meatless meal for the day.

Vegetable black bean burger, salad, caramelized sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts, coconut cashews, and chocolate kale shake

Two days back on OMAD and you will drop at least 3 of those lbs. Its just water and food weight.

Today was a good day. I was off work and managed to keep the hunger under control and kept to OMAD and no meat. My husband caved and had meat with his breakfast but he says he is going to try to get back to it. Tonight's meal was a burrito and baked apple half along with wheatgrass juice and chocolate kale shake.

    3xj57xci5ff7.jpg

Burrito [3 eggs, spinach, onions, tomato, black beans, cheddar jack cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, everything low carb tortilla]

Was down 2.9 pounds on the scale this morning (166.8 pounds) while my trending weight is still going up. (165.3 pounds) I am looking for it to start dropping again soon.

Proud of me, I made cinnamon rolls for the kiddos and wasn't even tempted to have one. :):po:)

Yes that too Bob but mainly because I know that OMAD is going to get me back to my goal weight fast and I really do like eating One Big Meal at one time :)

Happy Friday Everyone. Today's official weigh in 164.4; a loss of 1.5 pounds from last Friday and 5.4 pounds down from Tuesday's weight. I am still working to get back to my lowest weight of 161.7 which I hit on July 25 which was before I went off plan while vacationing. I know I will get there and lower.

Last night's meal. I took a picture of my wheatgrass juice also since it is never in any of my meal photos because I drink it while I am preparing my meal.

    ubuw15odwts3.jpg

Last night's meal was a big salad, baked buffalo cauliflower bites, chocolate kale shake and some pecans on the side. Hubby and I went to the movies after dinner and I had a small popcorn which I should not have eaten because I was full from my dinner. We shared the last cinnamon roll when we got home later. No wonder I was up .2 pounds this morning. When will I learn. But today is a new day and I commit to not sabotaging this day with any outside of meal eating.

Great loss - it seems to be dropping nice and quickly! Your salad looks epic and I gotta say it again, your veggie meals are going to kill me, they look so awesome...
