Today ended up being a splurge day (Maintained no- meat). Went to a church summer picnic which was started out good. My meal is below. Following my meal, the snacking began and lasted throughout the evening. I will be expecting a gain in the morning. Getting back on track tomorrow will reel any gains back in. I am thinking of doing a water fast on Monday and getting back to my salads on Tuesday-Thursday.

Today's meal. Went to Cracker Barrel after Church today and had a veggie platter.

Side Salad, green beans, steamed broccoli, brussel sprout and kale salad, and a biscuit with honey. I also had my chocolate kale shake with additional heavy whipping cream for more calories.

Yesterday's meal was eggplant parmesan with zucchini noodles and salad.

I was up back to 160.8 this morning, but I know it is water weight as a result of DOMS from starting my HIIT workouts. Hopefully it will be gone by Friday's official weigh in.

Eggplant Parmesan with zoodles, salad, and chocolate kale shake.

Everyone in the house loves the Eggplant Parmesan. I have made this dish at least 8 out of the last 10 days.

After all the talk about making eggplant parmesan, I was actually thinking about making an eggplant parmesan panini tonight after seeing it on a list of vegetarian sandwiches. I decided not to tonight, maybe next week as I am sure the eggplant parmesan will be requested by the hubby at some point in the week.

Yesterday's meal was Domino's thin crust spinach, mushroom, and onion pizza, salad, and a marbled brownie. I had my chocolate kale shake about two hours before my meal because I had to take my son to back to school night when I got home from work and I wouldn't have time to eat my meal before going. I also ended up snacking last night. Every time I separate my kale shake from my meal it makes me want to snack. Just doing my OMAD meal always keeps me on track but when I split the meal up it makes me want more to eat. I ended up snacking on some barbecue fritos, additional slices of pizza, and another half of brownie. I was only up 0.3 this morning. I didn't look at the scale when I got on it this morning so I didn't find out my weight until I checked MFP after I got to work.

Today I am just going to drink my wheat grass juice and kale shake along with water. I really want to be in the 150's again for my official weigh in tomorrow. I will post a picture of last night's meal later today.

I am so tired of the 160's. I have been in the 160's for 81 days now and I am on my 97th day of OMAD. I must be out of the 160's for good by my 100th day on OMAD and I pray the next 81 days finds me taking on maintenance having already reached my goal weight because there is no way I plan on being in the 150's for that long.

I forgot to update on my fitness assessment I did on Monday. It turns out that both of my scales are equally wrong regarding my body fat but my Aria scale is correct in regards to my weight. My actual body fat according to the bod pod was 35.2% My Aria scale registered 40.2% body fat which was 7% higher and my old scale registered 28.2% body fat which was 7% lower.

The Aria scale has me today at 39.5% so it is making it's way down. I just need to work on toning and building muscle while I am reducing the fat.

You're doing amazing! It's much harder so close to your goal weight! I have all the faith in the world that you'll kick those 160's a** and be in the 150's for the next couple months of your journey <3

Tracey, you'll be out soon. Don't worry your pretty head over it. I agree with Steph, you're doing fantastic! Plus, you've kept off what you've lost so far which is awesome! I think there are just some groups of ten that want to hold on to us for dear life, others fly by. And it is true that once you have less to lose, it's typically slow going. You rock! Don't you forget it :)

If I stick to my plan I am not anticipating being in the 150s for no more than 30 days. I was looking at my chart again and on day 19 of being in the 160's, I was at 163.0. If I had not sabotaged myself I could have been in the 150s within 30 days. My birthday is Sept. 16 (one day shy of a month) and it is my desire to be in the 140's by then.

I think I may do a challenge leading up to my birthday to report my weight here (sort of like the give me 10 days challenge) just to give myself more incentive to stay on track.

    What do you think?

@barbheart I order the chocolate Kale Shake from Dr. Berg's website. I like it because it has a serving of kale in each shake and is a good source of protein since I have cut down on my meat consumption. I mix mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and the keto perfect mct oil powder and it tastes like chocolate milk.

The Kale Shake is a healthy meal replacement shake packed full of nutrients. If you are busy and want a convenient way to lose weight, this is a healthy alternative. It also has the concentration of protein you need, so all you have to do is drink 1 per day.

I love me a good challenge! And your birthday is a great goal, and a way to remind yourself to stay on track when you're tempted! Just remember, even if you DO do that, as long as you're headed in the right direction then you're in good shape <3
