Your meal looks amazing as always! I am so happy you're doing so well with your meatless month! Definitely proving you don't need meat to eat well!

Tonight's meal. Again I just made the salad and the mug cake. Sister fixed the cabbage and the green beans.

Have any of my vegetarian/Vegan OMADers ever tried the sofritas at Chipotle. I just got a craving for Chipotles and was considering a burrito or salad and wondered if the sofritas was worth adding or should I just stick with the rice, beans, and veggies. I have never had tofu before.

OME even the vegetarian options at chipotle are delish! Any Mexican food is nice for meatless because there are so many great options! I would get black beans and rice with all the fixin's if it were me ;)

Official weigh in day. 157.0 pounds for a total of 3.7 pounds lost this week. Basic OMAD definitely works.

I am so stoked, I got a varidesk at work today. So I am able to stand while work and get some movement going on at the same time. I have been looking up some standing desk exercises to see how I can fit in some extra fitness activities besides my walks. I am eager to see how high my steps get to on my fitbit with me moving more.

How wonderful on your loss for the week and the varidesk! Those things have become quite popular and many people rave about them. I'm so happy for you!

Great about the standing desk! I have a treadmill desk (which I'm just standing on right now). I walk for all my meetings and then do a lot of standing. I think you will definitely find you feel better not sitting down all day...

Tonight's meal. Dinner out at Texas Roadhouse. Kept it vegetarian and got my entire meal on one plate. Took my chocolate kale shake with me along with a fiber one chocolate brownie.

Caesar salad, Kraft macaroni and cheese, broccoli, broccoli and carrot medley, 2 rattlesnake bites, fiber one brownie, and chocolate kale shake.

I absolutely LOVE the sofritas, in case you were still curious :)
And congrats on the amazing loss this week!

ETA: I just noticed you had Caesar salad and just wanted to let you know that it is, unfortunately, not vegetarian. The dressing is made with anchovies. I know this is just a trial month, but I thought you might want to know for future reference!

Tonight's meal. Went to a Church Community picnic. The meal options were mostly high carb items so that is what I had. Was somewhat disappointed as they didn't have any green options. Had my chocolate kale shake when I got back home.

cole slaw, mashed potato, veggie roll, potato salad, watermelon, corn on the cob, brownie, sweet potato pie

Wow! Ya your meals look absolutely rewarding! I also have a treadmill desk: https://www.lifespanfitness.com/tr1200-dt5-treadmill-desk#
I absolutely love it. I've had it for 3 years now. I have the large desk top, and I can put 3 monitors on it.
I'm so happy to see you losing weight while eating yummy food :)

Ha - that's the treadmill desk I have too (it's at least 4 years old now though - there were no colour options back then)! I have 3 monitors also - I did have my laptop on an arm at one point too, but found that 4 monitors was too much so went back to just 3 externals.

Ha I just looked at when I bought it...Nov 2012! Geeze I have no concept of time. I still absolutely love it. The belt just started drifting from side to side. I adjust it but it's a tiny bit of a pain. You're the only other person I know that has it. Yep...had to get the boring grey top....but...it's sooooo sturdy....it's amazing isn't it? Best purchase I ever made. It's in my bedroom ...so it's right there in my face, so it calls me. I have it front of a 60 inch tv.

I have decided that my ultimate goal weight will be 144 pounds. This was how much I weighed when I entered into the military 21 years ago and I would like to be back to that weight. My maintenance range being 140 to 150 pounds. At today's weight of 154.1, that leaves me 10 pounds to goal.

Do you think I will be able to reach it by my birthday on September 16th? My birthday challenge is going amazingly well, I may be able to pull it off. Basic OMAD all the way

If you keep on as you are you just might be able to make it by your birthday... I would say the rate of loss will slow down as you get closer to goal, but you are so close already and you are losing so well, so maybe it won't!! How exciting...

I am doing a splurge day today. One splurge day allowed per week

    9) Allow one splurge day per week. For this splurge, you will eat one meal or multiple throughout the day, but ignore the one-plate/one-beverage rules. Try not to gorge, but it’s ok if you do (generally, when you are more thirsty than hungry, you can stop eating). The splurge will push your metabolism into high gear and help to make up for any deficiencies. Vary your splurge days, but never have more than two splurge days back to back unless you are close to your goal weight.

Went to the movies with my hubby and had some nachos and cheese and had half of an auntie Annie's sweet almond pretzel afterwards at Wal-Mart. I am enjoying my dinner now. Picture will follow shortly.
