I just watched Joe's new YouTube video about the one plate rule and he showed some of the meals he eats...Well I do the one plate and be done rule but I learned that I need to eat more of a variety of foods so I need to work on that because I'm not eating enough fruits or vegetables...Im going to change my 3 or 4 splurge days into just 2 and they will be more healthy and then I'll have 5 OMAD days :)

I think that is why I like to have an eating window. I eat what is for supper tell full, then later as I graze, I eat a fruit smoothy, and then I assess what I've eaten and if I haven't had any whole grains or dairy, I will have a little of those. After the main meal, I seem to graze on a little of a lot of different things and I think some of it is a conscious effort and some of it I think my body is directing me to eat different stuff.

I do usually eat the smoothy before dinner though cause it is quite filling and it keeps me from eating too much dinner but I do graze a little on a variety of things after. I never weigh anything but I do often keep a mental tally of how many calories I guess I've eaten. If I'm not full though, I will eat past my TDEE and get a deficit another day. If I wasn't losing, I would need to be more careful and structured.

You've been able to experiment a lot in maintenance and you've been a helllllllla successful. Sounds like you're fine tuning and figuring out what you need to stay fit and rewarded. Great job!

Bob, I do the same... Its usually things I didn't get in at dinner, like some veggies or pickles or fruit... Sometimes sweets or crackers or nuts, but I just like that if I'm still craving things after my main meal I can graze for a bit no problem

Today is my grandsons first birthday <3 and I made him a chocolate peanut butter poke cake, so today is another splurge day, 4 splurge days total and then the rest of the week will be OMAD and probably a water fasting day on Friday :)

Ummm sounds like I'd want to go back over and over again to that cake. Homemade is the BEST! I L <3 VE me some babies. I don't care who's it is, I just love holding them. I mercy sit for young, tired couples to give them a break and get me some endorphins from their babies cuteness. Happy first to your grandson...wow the first year!

Thanks and if I didn't have grandchildren I would have had more kids of my own, I would have had to adopt them but I would have had more :p

I've been weighing on Fridays but after having 4 splurge days this week I decided to water fast today and I'm hoping to be under 130 by tomorrow...I've also been eating more vegetables such as corn, potatoes and broccoli and next week I'll be eating lots of salad with my husband because he wants to lose some weight also :)

I'm going to try to get down to 122 or 125 so my plan for next week will be this...
    Sat.....Splurge Day
    Sun....OMAD
    Mon...OMAD
    Tue....Splurge Day
    Wed...OMAD
    Thu....OMAD
    Fri......OMAD or Water Fast

No he's just going to cut back on calories and drink less soda because he drinks a lot!!!

Men always lose easier than us ladies so he should do fine just by cutting back on the sodas and calories.

This is so true. My brother didn't start eating vegetables regularly until he hit 30. Once he started eating them, he lost 20 pounds in a month. It is SO annoying.

Agree about the walks - we get all our stuff from the day out on our walks. They're awesome.

I was up about 3-lbs after my feed last night. I won't even list what I put down. Now to get back to normal.

The doctor and nurse were both shocked and happy with my weight loss and I found out that I'm 5'2 not 5'3, I guess I'm shrinking!!! :D

I'll let you know my bloodwork results as soon as I find out :)

The nurse asked me so I told her and she said she's just started a low carb diet too but she doesn't think she could do OMAD and I told her I can't not do it :p My doctor told me to keep on doing what I'm doing :)

Sweet! Funny how so many people think that OMAD would be so hard when it’s actually so very easy! I guess I was probably a bit scared of it at first. I think the thought of actually getting hungry freaks people out.
