I was recently diagnosed with Hoshimotos Thyroiditis. I have Gad65 and PTO antibodies attacking me. I have all but beaten back the symptoms, though, and in December, I will go back for another test.

Right now my number is normal but if it goes back up or down my doctor will do another test to see if I have hashimotos...What are your symptoms?

I think my number went up to 7.242 or something like that. Doc wants to medicate, but I say not yet. I'm going to do a video on it, but the antibodies of thyroiditis are similar to type-1 diabetes and I have PTO and GAD65 both. My mother showed the same at 41. And everybody in our family has a thyroid that eventually fails. Looks like genetics may have the upper hand with me. We shall see.

    Symptoms were:

bouts of post prandial hypoglycemia (at first)
    cold *burrr*
    chapped lips
    hair loss on lower legs
    some dry patches of skin
    receding gums
    joint issues
    bouts of unexplained depression
    "air hunger" throughout the day
    fatigue

They seem to have let up now and I am getting my energy back. Can't wait to go back so to see if the antibodies went down.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but I'm not taking anything except Ashwaganda, selenium, B12, and D3 right now. They want me on levo as well. I'm just not ready yet.

You're not hijacking at all...Well be careful especially since you have hashimotos...I tried going off my medication once and my levels went so high I even scared myself :# I hope your numbers are better this next time o:)

I was diagnosed with hypothyroid like a decade ago. Started on synthroid and am now on Armour. It's T3 and T4 which many of us need. Doc has to be open to it and luckily my doc is. Here's a link if you're interested/curious:

I'm not feeling very good :/ Yesterday and today I woke up with the sulfer burps, it's like all the food in my tummy is rotting and not digesting and the only thing that helps is PeptoBismol...I know that I said that I was going to try eating OMAD every day but once the weekend got here I just fell apart and started eating everything in sight and most of it was junk food and it was a lot...So starting today I'm doing strict OMAD for 6 days and just 1 splurge day on the weekend...I pray that I can stay strong o:)

Just try to eat nutritious foods. Try some yogurt. When I have stomach issues I will eat yogurt to try to help get things back in order. ACV might help also.

I felt like that a few times....refux, burping, and worse, too graphic! what worked for me was a salt water flush

    https://draxe.com/salt-water-flush/

cleans out your blocked pipes very good! Ive done this a few times in my life. You will visit the toilet alot, but afterwards you feel empty, clean and unclogged! :)

You will stay strong on yr OMAD, look how far you have come..i read yr recent post on success stories, and you are that. :)

it takes around 2 hours to start working. My advice if you do it, is just drink it and drink it as fast as you can until its gone. Thats what I do.

I second the salt water flush recommendation. It does a good job of cleaning things out.

That's kind of what you drink before you do a colonoscopy and it does clear you out. Might raise your blood pressure temporarily due to all the sodium.

I never had one of those, I hope it won't make me sick or pass out :o

Your not going to pass out but you won't feel great drinking it for sure!

You have to get the sea salt without iodine if you are doing the salt flush and make sure you use enough. I first time I did it with two teaspoons of salt and it did not work. I upped it to a full tablespoon and it worked like a charm and I was going within 20 minutes of taking it and was finished in about an hour. Once it starts working, you don't want to be too far from the bathroom.
