Salmon is probably my favorite food in the whole world. I would eat it for desert after eating ice-cream!. That looks fantastic!

Hi guys no pictures today i was so hungry I ate it merciless hahah
I went carb today, had 3 mini sandwiches similar to the ones of yesterday one smaller and an awesome salad with cabagge, feta, tomato, rucula (rocket) onion oregano olive oil and avc
AND for desert I had a fairly nice size of a kefir with blueberries that alone was 320 calories!!!

All thru the night I was having this type of hunger that says, hey Barb, come on feed me... I knew I had to go higher in calories today...
Also was gonna start another 48h fast but have decided after listening to the hunger pangs that I will leave it for another week and carry on.

Its incredible cause I feel the days i am loosing weight from those I dont.
Hope you guys are doing "awesomely" this week end!

Same here, I can predict pretty accurately when I'm losing. You can just feel it.

That's right, listening to our body and what it wants is key! Refeeding is necessary and you obviously were in need it. Hugs your way!

It is a long way, a long journey and I think we have to stay in the "marathon" mindset as opposed to a sprint.
I've been holding off posting a recent pic, wanting to go for maximum before/after impact. Lol

Had this cabbage salad (it also has fetta forgot to write it down) with a tuna fish sandwich and a natural yogurt. This is my 3rd eating carbs, and by the taste of the bread I can feel I am desiring to reduce my carb intake again...so I am really seeing a cyclic pattern here going on... last week I had 48h fast followed by 2 days with no carb or at least no bread, pasta, rice, potato, starchs... and 3 days where I had sandwich (bread). Its interesting to see...

I've not planned any celebration for one year, truthfully at this point for me every day is a celebration.

About that salad, wow it's looks amazing, and your photos are magazine quality, so professional.
    But what is rocket?

Rocket = arugula = roquette (plus I think it has a bunch of other names!!)

Right. For those (like me) who don't do salads, you can just take a nutribullet and smoothie arugula with nothing but water and you are done with getting your dark leafy green requirements. Just tastes like chlorophyl. Not bad after the third or fourth time. Actually tasty. But don't do it too often because of the oxalate content = kidney stones.

Right Rucula es rocket sorry didn´t know how its called in the US , thanks Sarah for clarifying.
Tks Joe for the advice not to overdo!

Well Jim I think we ought to celebrate your victory! even if its shouting out loud a huge HURREY to you from all the corners of the world!!!! I will certainly do so on the 29th!!! count on that! :)

I wish you loved salads Joe, they are such an easy way to just shove all your greens and just dress them easily and eat them it can do a nice meal all by itself on any food type diet, be it ketogenic, vegan, omnivore, low fat, high fat whatever...even high carb salads if you add in pasta, rice, bread crumbs...

I am researching more to optimize my diet...again I have to admit the days I do more high fat low carb those days I feel I drop more...

Also really looking into ways to reduce the insuline resistance besides my fasts, to really kick start my fat burning...

So I am making a list of those keto foods that I naturally like that could support a reduction in my carb intake. Sugars seem to be under control as I am not feeling cravings for sugar but bread oh boy bread... lol

Hi folks no Omad photo today I am on a 48h fast... I kind of followed the lack of hunger of my body ....

    http://www.burnfatnotsugar.com/macrocalc/index.html

I just measured myself with this calculator and as some previous doctor told me in the past, I have quite a fair bit of muscle so this means I dont need to reach an ideal weight that is totally unrealistic as when I reached it in the past I looked unhealthyly skinny... so this is my new official goal...need to just drop 114 pounds rather than 154... big difference.
At least will make this my new goal and see how I go after that...

    :) happy as Larry

Plus I am on a low carb mission... plan to do 48h fasts whenever I can within reason and eat the rest of my Omad more less as follows: 4 days low carb and 1 day carb conscious. so, 2 days fast, 5 days omad low carb, 1 day omad carb conscious

    Hello Omad family!!!
My second 48h fast was a smooth surf!!! indeed this is like building a fast muscle...it gets better as you go with it. I am also conscious that there will be sometimes with powerful detoxing going on and thus we cannot assume an easy surf per se... the body is indeed healing big time!

Here was my meal today.. started with 2 tbsp of avc dilluted in water, then this meal with a salad and a stirr fry.
salad: arugola, celery, raw broccoli, onions tomato, chia seeds, cheddar cheese avc olive oil oregano
Stirr fry: cabbage, garlic, oil, bacon
Dessert: 2 small pieces dark organic choco 86%
my drink today: 3 sips of kombucha and a Chaga mushroom infusion.

Didn´t feel loosing weight during this fast but felt less inflamed and more flexibility, skin super smooth, stretching exercises showing greater flex

Reading several old books on fasting to nourish my mind and get more inspired to continue this journey I am loving my 48h weekly fasts, if it feels ok, I might carry one with 1 48h per week and rest Omad and low carb higher fat for the rest of the week.

I have decided that my splurge time is within my OMAD and it will be then when I will eat some carbs in a conscious way. I have NOT splurged any day since I started OMAD. Clean fasts and clean Omad. hurrey! No desire to splurge whatsoever!

I have clearly detected that my addiction is the carbs not so much the sweets so I need to be working on the addiction. Best resource for that is the fast and improving my food choices for my Omad meals.

I am gonna win this battle!.

You know, it really hasn't been that bad it just doesn't feel as structured as I'm used to which somehow freaks me out a little bit? LOL, however in a few moments I will let you know how much damage I did :p I don't think it'll be too bad though o:)

Great job on the longer fasts!

That's totally the beauty of OMAD - every meal feels like a splurge because you can just eat what you want and not have to worry about calories or carbs or macros or points or any of those other crazy things we have been told we have to count to lose weight... Obviously we want to eat for health, but that's just common sense - all of the counting doesn't seem like common sense to me at all - totally unsustainable.

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww GLUCOSE LEVELS AT 80 !!!!! with all the overweight I have that is super super good!!!! amazing

the funky thing is that before going to the chemist and without prior knowing of sugar levels I said to myself, its gonna be 80...well guess what it was 80!!! wow super intuition!!!!

Not that I ever had glucose high but I went to the chemist to have it check to see how I was doing ...

Yeahhh super happy... I am not even close to high levels which start at 120...

    Super happy!
